Oh damn, I really didn't see that final moment coming. Nanase's going dark now, huh? I'm wondering now how much that huge bruise on Yuni's leg was actually accidental, after seeing her throw her friend into the wall hard enough to knock her hairpin loose. Yuni was stopped wide out in the open when Nanase ran into her and there's no good excuse for why she did, except that Yuni in that moment was very obviously staring at Fuuko. I'd previously thought that Nanase wasn't bad, just a bad girlfriend for Yuni specifically. Now I'm not so sure.

Edit: double checked last chapter, Yuni wasn't even standing out of place when Nanase hit her. She was exactly where she was supposed to be, and Nanase should have been running in a different lane, since judging by the hair of the girl who told Yuni to get ready, Yuni and Nanase are on different teams. there's no reasonable way for Yuni looking at Fuuko to lead to a collision. I think it's actually possible Nanase kneed Yuni's leg on purpose in anger over seeing her checking out Fuuko, possibly not expecting the result to be so bad, since she seems genuinely surprised/worried in the immediate aftermath.

Not buying it and I'll eat my shoe if this turns out to be the case. Because:

1. I don't feel this is the type of manga that will make one of the characters abusive. It would immediately cast Nanase as a villain when the author has so far made all the characters simply "flawed".
2. The author would have hinted more about it than what we've seen. This work is a lot of things, but "subtle" is rarely one of them. Not that being straightforward is a bad thing. (Or I suppose "gayforward" in this case :P)

Edit: Looking at the most recent chapter, I think the author is using the crash as symbolism for how Nanase treats Yuni in general (not paying enough attention to her and being oblivious to how she's feeling in general), with how Fuuko called her out directly on it with "Aren't you way too oblivious to what's in front of you? You're really not paying any attention to Yuni-chan at all, are you?"

2nd Edit: The "oblivious" comment can also be read as Fuuko taunting Nanase that she was oblivious when Yuni had previously been cheating on her and is now oblivious that Yuni is cheating on her again.

I came here to support this theory, I am not opposed to Nananse randomly committing acts of violence, but I think this interpretation suits the whole situation much better.

I'd find this endearing if blondie didn't seem to like the other one because she's miserable...and mainly because of that....

I'm definitely on the "Fuuko did nothing wrong" train lol. She has simply acted rationally in her own interest and has not violated any agreement or relationship she had with someone else. Yuni's cheating but Fuuko isn't.

I wanna hop on this train, it takes two to tango and to cheat and to make a manga like this so awfully entertaining.

I have changed my mind, I don't think Nanase is a terrible gf anymore, some people are busy and like doing a lot of things, some people, like Yuni need more attention, it's just incompatibility. While I can appreciate Fuuko’s growth I will always despise Yuni because she can’t just sack up and break up with Nanase, I’ll pretty much just always hate this character lol

the whole kissing sceen with all that details and thw whore that is Yuni crying made me wanna ring her neck at this point! i NEVER felts so much rage at cheating, i avoid stories like this cuz i emotional immers myself in them so tragic stories can make me incredible sad, the reason way i read happy ending stories, but THIS? this just makes me incredible angry blood boiling because cheating is something that i take personaly,

next time after i finish this manga i will 100% make sure i avoid stories likw this (this might end with Yuni never getting any punishment for being an human incarnation of garbage)
