arent these girls the ones that like to pee on each other

i'm ashamed this made me laugh so hard

Well yeah there was one watersports doujin and another one with pee (but they didn't piss on each other so it didn't get the watersports tag) but you know what they say: "You build a thousand bridges but fuck one goat. You know what they'll call you? A goat fucker."

i laughed so hard with this for some reason i thought all of their doujins were abt watersports for a moment until I checked the tag

I love Kodama Naoko. She's the only one that makes yuri more realistic, more fucked up. People are bad but in yuri it seems there's only the moe trope. Women aren't only moe, or always moe, they have bad feelings and flaws. And relationships aren't just "jealous of your ex" or the other common tropes, people can be annoying too and you can still love them/want to be with them.

The only thing she's bad at is making communication between the couple something that exists, but I understand why she would complicate things for the sake of the good ol' drama.

Kaoru is getting on my nerves. This chapter was really good (one of the fewer we have abt “explanations”), but the more it passes, the more i hate Kaoru’s personality.

Her desperate need to “keep” a family is just ruining everything by her lack of communication and thinking that if she just ignores everything then its gonna be alright. Uta is supposedly the person she loves (in a maternal/sisterly way) and she decided to ignore the fact that Uta confessed and romantically loves her in order to keep her image of family. Her presence is bad for Uta and instead of acting like the adult she is, she just... pretend nothing happened. When i read the first page “we both need to change” i got the hope that Kaoru will eventually stops being so passive with her feelings and actually confront her problems. also this housewife life she lives is just sad. she doesnt do anything, i kinda feel bad. i would say she is the burden and not uta LOL

as other ppl mentioned, this manga is really interesting. i mean, the way the author is proceeding is very... different? when i started reading i didnt expect a lot of thought bc its literally motherxdaughter incest so i thought it would be something like the mom just give in or is already in love (like most incest works)

but there’s actually a plot jIsjskkdao. im impressed by the author skills, though i cant for the love of god ship ayako and asuka especially bc they SEE each other as mom and daughter (esp asuka) instead of lovers or romantic interest (the mom is fine, shes still developing feelings for now). and theres the occasional flashbacks and its a lil bit funny bc they eventually will have sexual attraction and its just so AAAAAAAAAAJDKDKDKDKDKKDEMSMKS

its sad that it ended but it was good nonetheless
i was rereading bc this is one of my fav manga and chapter “declaration of war” proposes a plot that we will never see it cuz it had to end after haruhi arc :/

its a shame how manga with interesting plots get dropped meanwhile we have... those melodramatic plots that get 2738939303 volumes... we can see how the author had more stuff but im glad she at least could finish it with a satisfying ending.

its a bit funny how they communicate... im not sure if its a japanese thing, but theyve been dating for a while and she didnt know where her gf lived lol. and they also only talk through phone mails when they cant go on a date (but i guess thats bc the manga is old? im sure people facetime more these days). and if its not scheduled then you gotta wait for a week or more. when i used to date, we would just pop up at each other’s houses to eat ice cream or talk eijddkmdod

white haired senpai? sign me the fuck up

but ah, the protagonist is kind of meh. no reason at all for people to fall in love with. maybe the other tiny little girl, but the senpai?

ooba-san is probably like “stop being an useless lesbian and take care of her without lusting after her, u dumb shit shes my puppy”

Latest chapter spoiler :(

The cultural festival has come and during Pure and Akira’s free time, Akira sincerely comes to acknowledge her love for Pure. Akira looks like she’s about to say something, but shrugs it off. The two head back to their shifts for their class, where Pure is tasked to deliver milk tea to the rooftop for fellow event organizers.

Turns out, the event on the rooftop is held for students who wish to say something that they can’t or have difficulties speaking up about. Those who are interested are free to use a megaphone to shout out (from the rooftop) their worries. Inspired, Pure takes the megaphone and voices her own worries. Of course, Akira, who is still working on her shift, overhears this.

Pure confesses that she and her (unnamed) beloved were never dating in the first place, and that she had unintentionally lied about it during her first meeting (with Akira, who remains unnamed throughout the whole speech). She had simply mixed her desires with the reality and her memory got all muzzled up along the way. Even so, Pure remains appreciative of her beloved’s kind and accepting nature, asserts that she still believes Akira to be her fated person, and ends her speech by saying that she is still very much so in love with that person.

Hearing this, Akira rushes to the rooftop (likely with the intention of confessing). Pure turns around and steps off the podium, but as they stand face-to-face, she suddenly vanishes, and Akira is left in a daze, unable to remember why she came to the rooftop at all.

idk if its bc this manga is not updated frequently (sometimes it takes more than three months for the author to release a new chapter) or if the plot is just a mess by now bc with every new chapter, i have no idea whats going on. i always expect the next chapter to be a continuation from the previous one but it never is?? its like [chapter ends in a cliffhanger] [new chapter with the next day where the thing happened already but the author hid it and now its just uta’s daily life]

i love the premisse and the characters but at this point its not even abt kaoru and uta anymore, i just\ im totally lost with the new plots that keep coming and the old ones not being finished and they just ???

You’re right that one chapter rarely picks up exactly where the previous one left off, and often what readers consider to be crucial information about what happens gets left out. That can certainly get confusing.

There aren’t actually many “plots,” though. We see Uta’s interior life, Kaoru’s interior life, Uta’s life at home, and Uta’s life with her handful of friends/coworkers. Some of that gets pretty complicated and interconnected (like when whatever’s going on with Reiichi takes center stage), but overall there are relatively few plot threads.

I agree that the structure can be pretty frustrating when the story seems to promise clarity about something important (Reiichi’s possible cheating, Uta’s confession) only to leave us hanging with more ambiguity. But that’s how this one rolls.

I’m way used to the straight storyline divided in “arcs” i guess. that’s why its confusing bc the author sure likes to drop hints of things that will show up (like uta’s family situation that we “know” abt it since th beginning) but they never actually talk abt it or “complete” it, so we never know if the situation is done and there’s no reason to worry abt it being relevant again or if its something that will still do great impact in the future

EDIT: another example is the cheating. is that girl gonna come back? is she gonna be relevant again? is this topic ever gonna come up again or was it just an one time thing? bc rn the mom is gonna be the topic for the next chapters and even the confession doesn’t seem relevant anymore since kaoru straight up denies everything in her life and every plot with her just get brushed under the carpet bc she doesnt deal with it

NioYuri and Sumireko/Banba are by far the best couples. I used to like HaruI a lot in the beginning of the series bc I loved Isuke. After the manga was finished I just realized it wasn’t my cup of tea and most part was just hype bc more Isuke!!!!!

Kodama is known for writing short stories / oneshots and the series said from the beginning it was gonna be short so i doubt it was “cut off.”

anyways the story was good, had the right amount of things and no unnecessary drama / dumb people with a happy ending so 10/10. i really like when one of them stands up for the other instead of being silent when confronted by family which is something that doesnt happen a lot in yuri/yaoi.

adult yuri is also way better than highschool girls
