but on a serious note, the thought of the chapters I edited being on mangafox makes me really uncomfortable (as most scanlators would tell you). what's more aggravating is knowing that it can be easily avoided by just not uploading to imgur at all.

Thanks for noticing, Alextasha i'll paraphrase what i said on 4chan. basically, i'm trying something new, overlaying directly on the korean comico site so that ssamba gets a lot of page views. this means i'll stop uploading to imgur because that does not benefit ssamba. i've left instructions for how to do view my typeset directly on the comico site a few pages back. it's a bit disappointing that Jin brought a new character in at the end who we don't even get to know anything about

yea, i definitely get what you mean. it's like when animes end with a flashforward-vignette showing the conclusion without explaining how they got there. it's a bit of lazy story telling. still, seeing as how this is about mika growing as a person i guess it could be forgiven that jin chose to not go into detail about this new love interest.

there are a few more loose threads that need tying up as well, for example takako and yui. it'd be kinda pointless to have all those chapters featuring their past without it meaning anything. though given their current situation, i wouldn't be surprised if we're back to square 1.

on that note, am i the only one who feels like jin is not very good at wrapping things up? her one shots are great, but for longer series the ending often feels a bit abrupt or rushed. that, or the ending is so obvious during the first chapter that it feels all the ones in the middle were a bit redundant.

tldr; when you read something you enjoy immensely, like Stretch or Prism, you want to admire the author and think that he's a great person because he can write something like this, but then you are confronted to the reality of the person and it's a let down.

we've been here a bunch of times before, so let's not go there again. i don't know why it's so difficult for people to accept that you can separate the works of an artist and the artist themselves. you can enjoy the work, but dislike the artist and vice versa.

maybe i find this mental gymnastic doable because my favourite book is lolita but that's besides the point. stretch is great. it inspired me to change my dp after like...5 years.

now that i've read it again, i'm surprisingly ok with this ending. yes, it was disappointing that we got a bunch of chapters about mayu and mika only for them to not end up together but looking back it might've been out of character for mika to fall for mayu when she insisted that she's not into younger girls. besides, it doesn't seem as though mayu or saki is unhappy with how things are so it's a good end, not the ending i would've liked, but a good end nonetheless.

On the topic of replicating the comico reading experience, I tried overlaying the the FF scanlations (similar to Cheese in the Trap if anyone knows it) on Japanese Comico site. I've only done the first chapter thus far.

The advantage of this is that you'd be supporting the artist through the official website, which was why i tried it out in the first place. Also the Japanese comico has chapter titles and a blurb which might be fun to look at. As is, the current chapter titles aren't accurate lol, I'll change it eventually.

If anyone tries reading it this way, drop me a line to let me know what you think. I'm planning on updating most of the roughs in a similar fashion.

Really good chapter imo. I was afraid that No-rae is a (teensy) bit Mary Sue-ish because she didn't have any notable flaws but here we're really delving into her personality. I like the role-reversal here as well cause it's Seol-a showing her mature side by noticing No-rae's childish behaviour.

Seol-a's little smirk at So-seol giving her a tip is pretty funny. We have a shipper on board guys. Also good to know that Seol-a got the mum-stamp-of-approval.

The possibility that he likes Seol-A and wants to go out with her but relies on shameful tactics to make her his sounds quite likely and believable to me. Not saying that it's great, but I don't see how that makes him a monster or an absolute evil.

I agree. I'm going to give Kyeong-woo the benefit of the doubt and say we wasn't about to assault Seol-ah whilst she's drunk. I mean he genuinely did seem concerned from some of the panels.

The 'I got found out' and 'fucking embarrassing' could perhaps be because No-rae saw through his bravado. He doesn't actually have the balls to say 'directly' that he likes someone and has to resort to 'shameful tactics' such as getting them to open up to him via a bit of alcohol.

Granted it is coercive but it's not as horrible as the scenario that I had imagined when the new chapter hadn't come out yet.

I also agree with you 100% on the rumours thing. I think part of FF is about how rumours don't present an accurate representation of how someone actually is. Kyeong-woo may be the the 'king of fucking' or whatever but he's definitely far from a monster in my book. That would be like Seol-ah's ex who attempted to strangle her.

I think YP has uploaded newer versions with nicer raws. Is anyone going to upload them cause I'd be willing to do so.

I don't really understand what Taki was thinking letting Sakura sit for a few weeks. If she intended to visit her anyway, why say 'fine'? Sakura went through a lot of torment after that. Maybe she got tired of waiting for Sakura to make it up to her, but it just seems callous to me.

On the contrary, I think Sakura is the immature one (she's the younger one and she was in middle school then as well so can't blame her for it). I mean she pulled the same stunt 3 times and Taki is always the one running after her. In chapter 8 she deletes Taki's email, in chapter 9 she just left for no reason, in chapter 10 she randomly asks Taki to break-up with her and you can clearly see on one of the pages in chapter 10 that's she's not too thrilled.
