And if I wanted to read streamlined mainstream manga I'd read those. In fact, there are plenty of them already.

Of course - it might all turn out to be fantastic and we'll just get the same in better. But I'm a naturally skeptical person and it is 2020 after all :/

Also Glaucus (I guess if I specifically need to kill drones there's some niche use) and Vermeil (definitely doesn't seem useful).

How does "there's multiple subplots simultaneously" equal "all over the place"?! It's perfectly clear what's happening; this is a small aside that - as others have pointed out - quite probably directly links to the 'hardboiled' themes and thus the evil manga editor; that doesn't mean that that subplot is ignored or forgotten.

Somehow, I'm already annoyed. ^^

I do like though that these arrows don't seem to be any sort of fated-chosen-lovers sort of BS, but just showing current infatuation levels even if they are wrong/misguided/quickly disillusioned.

Some other forms of stimulation appear to be involved as well. Birds are frequently seen masturbating on toys, cage accessories or on people in the household. Mirrors or favorite toys can be objects of desire for the bird. The bird can be stimulated by other birds vocalizing in the home or merely by gently petting the bird. The bird must be comfortable in its environment, relatively free from stress so that a cycle can begin. Significant changes could upset the cycle.

Anyway, if she increases in size like that, would she actually have more blood or would her blood just be made up of larger components? Because otherwise you'd probably have all sorts of weird side-effects. On the other hand, if everything just scales up without increasing in quantity, certain functions of the body presumably wouldn't work according to the laws of physics anymore ...

Mh. I must conclude that changing in size would be impossible in reality.

I Favor the Villainess is good. But Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Oji-san takes the cake.

The fake leg isn't visibly different in the manga either, is it? It's just the lower part or something ... presumably why she wears those boot things.

That's an unfair question since the premise itself has no actual weight, and a reasonable person could easily guess how it would resolve itself. The story has never been about the fact that Hana was keeping a secret. It's just been in the corner, brought out occasionally to remind people that it exists. This kind of story doesn't rely on its initial premise to exist, and can easily continue as long as the author has an audience for it.

And despite this being true for 4koma and comedy and romcom and so on manga they basically all end when their flimsy premise/s is/are resolved.

But we'll see. This could be one of the few exceptions.

It took 92 chapters for the initial premise to finally be resolved. Oh well, at least now the manga can move on to bigger and better things?

There definitely seems to be some implications towards that.

But I fully agree with that stupid, stupid "go away to come back later" end scheme. I mean, it's fine, if it happens once in a while. But when you keep reading manga and keeps happening again and again and again it just turns into a parody of itself. Come up with some new variations already ^^;

Yes, this series is all sorts of bonkers. I mean, it's chapter 217 now ... it started in chapter 190. It's pretty much exactly 2 years now ... and it's still just the first round of this match.
