1) Sumika was eaten by the the 2 bear girls and Yurizono discovered them eating her body. Why did Yurizono claim she ate sumika?

Because Yurizono ate and killed Sumika first, in the morning. This is why she was cautious around the flower bed in the evening and heard Ginko and Ruru eating the leftovers.

2) When Tsubaki is battling bears on the roof and she gets hit, she is seen falling. Why is it that every episode she somehow still on the roof. Wouldn't the falling represent that lost the battle?
3) What is with the room of judgement? Why does it only judge the two bears and none of the others in battle?

She's not LITERALLY falling from the roof. The court metaphorically takes place in her head, her thoughts - she has her emotions fighting her logic about accepting her sexuality. And every time she herself approves yuri, because she's a lesbian. But her yuri is still platonic and closeted. It begins to change after Ginko has appeared in her life and started seducing her - she has learned the first taste of sex. This is when her house started to get broken - with the window by the bears. This is when she learned to shoot and defend herself. Coming out - the invisible storm - is coming, and her sexuality is not very welcome. Just like bears killing humans, following their instincts, Kureha learns about the sin of murdering in the episode 3.

Discussing the anime shouldn't be spoiling since the anime and the manga have different stories. Only the setting and the premises are the same. But if those are considered spoilers then I don't see a point in discussing it here at all and would rather ask for a separate topic then.

The entire manga so far was a setup for the cat, the title character.

That's a weird cat name. I'm gonna name my cat Ran, Ran, Ran you naughty.

It could be Keiko, if it's old enough xD I can imagine the next chapter opening to a black panel and a speech bubble saying "Ugh, Keiko you're heavy. Get off." and showing the white kitty slumbering on her. Somehow I can imagine Shou doing something like that xD

So what's the date? Ran's at home for a day-off, so it's probably 11th of March or so? WD's coming next chapter? Then drama or yuri? Whatever the case, she's clearly still hurt badly, seemingly because of her dad.

Maybe, "worst-case," Keiko and the ex end up back together, and the story ends with Keiko getting the baby she wanted.

I wonder if Keiko can at all get pregnant now. If not, Ran's actually the one who she should get married to. Besides, Ran has such a kitty. :)

She may not show it in front of Ran but in the christmas chapter when she was talking to her friend she showed some feelings for Ran. That was maybe not romantic but at least beyond normal friendship.

What annoyed this time is that Keiko didn't say a thing even in front of Saki. She's really doing her best running away from reality after the Valentine's and not willing to accept the sexual counterpart of the relationship. Maybe she's too conscious hiding, not to accidentally come out LOL. But then she could at least slightly blush...

On the first page I also thought that was a woman.

My first thought was, why Keiko went for such an ugly haircut all of a sudden and how did Ran allow for that. Then I thought, that maybe it's Keiko's mom. And only afterwards I realised it's just her ex.

Ran stretching is overkill.

D. Shou planned a depressive dramatic chapter that would look unfair at Christmas time

so it seems Shou did decide for plan D and some drama did fall upon us... and as far as I understand, an ex might even ask Ran for a paid date in the future... I just see this coming...

and of course Keiko acts as if she doesn't miss Ran a tiniest bit...

If he did two chapters every week then the 'plot' wouldn't be this nicely spread and it would be what Citrus is, I like it as is.

I'm not asking for weekly releases... just two chapters in a week, to compensate for the month break. Actually, to be completely honest, I'm fine even with the standard biweekly schedule and standard chapter sizes as long as it's still as good as it's been the whole time. But deep down, who doesn't want longer chapters released more often without losing in any other department :) I know it's impossible, but one can still dream ;)

I said "That would be stunning! Unless it's hentai", which means "if it's not hentai, then a new manga from Shou is stunning". I've never said what happens if it is hentai. Not stunning is implied, but not stunning isn't bad either. It's just that my personal preference lies with a non-hentai manga, because Shou's a gorgeous story teller, so I'd love to read more from him. There aren't too many great stories, yet a lot of hentai. Doesn't mean the latter's bad.

If you look at Yawaspi's lineup on its front page, it seems like Akili isn't the only one doing a month break.
However, it seems like not every mangaka is doing so.

Did some research.
The only Japanese public holidays during Akili's break is December 23rd (Emperor's Bday), January 1st (NY), and January 12 (Coming of Age day). Christmas isn't a public holiday, seems more like just a gift-giving tradition before/after work.

Wow, Yuppers, aren't you amazing?! But then it really doesn't leave much time for holidays. Oh, I'm starting to feel the upcoming drama. The Vol.3 should also be completed in a couple of chapters I guess, so it's a good place for a milestone chapter... Really liked it when Keiko and Saki were talking about Ran on the balcony in ch.25 and Ran seemed to be able to hear them. Such a warm and fuzzy feeling.

It's so lovely, isn't it? Every time I read those Keiko's words I feel like hugging Ran so much!
