It's probably heresy of some sort, but I think Makoto x Ami is an even better ship than the canon Haruka x Michiru. Which I guess makes sense, since Mako-chan was always my favourite of the Senshi to start with, and the way the outers were required by the story to be much more distant than the main cast, so I didn't get quite so attached.

I've only watched the first half, but most of the subtext up to that point comes from these two playing out Takarazuka roles, where the star who everyone wants to be plays all masculine roles while they have a "consort" who normally plays very feminine roles opposite them.

The one pretty clear lesbian character in the series, who's got a huge, possessive crush on the main character, is largely played for laughs and doesn't get any reciprocation at all.

That's the national age of consent, which hasn't been changed in forever because each prefecture has their own age of consent. Most are 18 like in the US, none of them drop below 16 (again like the US).

I don't think is hetero, but genderswap is not everyone's cup of tea when it comes to yuri... Well, there are two complicating factors.

First, does the magic of the crown only affect the body?

Second, what if Bowser was a closeted trans...um..."person"...in the first place? Certainly they'd jump at the chance to have a crown like this. I'd expect "manly man" Bowser to be, understandably, pretty hesitant to literally give up his manhood, but Bowsette seems pretty enthusiastic about the new form.
