Well written, I don't know but there is this one too were the girl doesn't turn het and the trauma isn't the reason she like the other girl. While there is shit about "she not a guy so it's okay", it does looks more about the person than about the gender

Yeah I was thinking about the riding hood three chapters and I had totally forgot part of the one shot and the wolf trauma. Hers is totally the trauma = lesbian kind...

I think thematically, the teacher couple in the volume holds everything together and shows that being a lesbian is independent of all that. If they weren't included, I'd find the story as a whole more problematic.

Bit of advice for your artist. Draw in 3/4 view as much as possible. Straight-on and profile shots are a good way to make your work look flat and unappealing.

Also, as the wise Chantelune pointed out, use text-only panels very sparingly. They tend to be confusing to the reader, and adding names to word bubbles makes me feel like I'm reading a script instead of a comic. The flip side of what is that simple "talking heads" is boring, but fortunately there are loads of ways to avoid that.

Yeah, I get that. I don't know why I love bad people in my media so much. Quite a few of my favorite anime/manga characters are assholes too.
And to be honest, The L Word kinda had too much kissing. Can't believe I'm saying that. It's like, well, here goes 5 minutes of nothing important happening. Again. And 70% of those kisses happen because of cheating anyways so it's hard to be happy about them.

Yeah, like I said I'd love to see something like Queer As Folk but with lesbians instead of the whole spectrum. More ground-level, working class stuff, characters you can identify with and less of the "beautiful people who are all nasty". Relationships can start and end without cheating and backstabbing (although it's okay dramatically if some of them do). But I despair of such a thing ever being made.

Except for the fact she's not a real lesbian, typical japanese plot that girl don't like guys because they did bad thing to her, normally when she was a child, they're not real lesbian because the only reason that characters like this are "lesbian" is because for some stupid reason they thought a guy won't work, until the right one shows up, you can't turn a lesbian straight if she was never a real lesbian, it matters the type of story because you guys need to learn to notice if the character is a real gay or not, like in this case that she's obvioulsy not a real lesbian.

Yeah, I adore Yohane and Yakumi Sarai, but they're really not for beginners.

I did forget to add GP-Kids though, their stuff is pretty fluffy. Although the cop-out ending of Daisy Field is seriously annoying, so don't read that first (although it works if you read Sweet Catastrophe immediately following).

That's what I keep saying. These two aren't necessarily yanderes the way we're used to with stalking, confinement, threatening others, etc. Rather they're pretty normal yuri characters, with violence added to make it ridiculous. If it weren't for the violence, this would be a pretty by the numbers yuri story.

That makes it better for me too. Mami is kinda lost with the established pairings (unless you make her pedo) and having the other relationships open for their senpai is kinda sweet.

Don't forget OL-chan as a potential partner. But yeah, I can see them (especially when drunk) making an exception to play with their sempai who they do care about a lot, and know is often lonely.

And I'd agree that Ushio and Tora is 90s in a bad way: It's at the point in the cycle where it's clearly old, but not old enough that the things it's doing seem new. Which is to say that it's constantly throwing jokes at us that we've all seen dozens of times before

There's also the fact that at least the first episode is not an update of the original series, but a scene-by-scene remake with better animation. I thought it was fun and a good shot of nostalgia, though.

They can be shipped the same way any other pairing of group members would be. Just figure out how and why they'd interact and become close, and you're gold.
