I haven't started reading this,because that subtext tag is scaring me away.

Do any of the main characters have feelings for the other ? I don't mind slow burns ,hell, I read the LNs of Adachi and Shimamura and those were sloooow,but burned consistently and I don't want to read a manga where the characters act gay as hell but never confirm anything, I have been disappointed too much already.

Yeah, I suggest you keep waiting on this one, I'd say it's not impossible for it to become more overtly romantic by the end but so far you'd probably just feel frustrated if you're going in with those expectations.

I wonder if Hino and Nagafuji will ever explicitly start dating like Adachi and Shimamura or if they'll just keep their status quo. With the way they're written I think it would be fairly simple to have them start dating without having to dedicate a lot of screentime to building it up, for instance they could find out about Adachi and Shimamura, start talking about them, Nagafuji could mention that it's just like their own relationship, Hino could mull over it for a bit and agree.

I'm pretty sure the only times the fact they're both girls came into consideration were from Shimamura's perspective. I don't remember Adachi ever thinking about societal norms aside from her relationship with her parents.

I don't recall anything from beyond the first two novels in this PV, though I assume it will at least cover the third one as well.

Shimamura did mention several times before that Yashiro feels extremely light to hold up.

By the way, it felt weird seeing a Demon Slayer reference since I just assumed the series' timeline matched up with when the series started (so 2012-2013) rather than being simply "the present day", but props to the author for writing it in way before its popularity exploded with the anime.

Surprised at how people are just kinda talking past Adachi And Shimamura's Adventures In Exhibitionism in this chapter. Personally my jaw was on the floor the whole time I was reading it. Shimamura's gotten really gay really fast.

It is one of the best parts for sure, I think the whole way their physical attraction is being gradually explored is pretty heartwarming without it feeling forced or exaggerated. Something I can really commend this series for is how true both characters stay to themselves no matter what kind of new situation they're pushed in emotionally. Although I'd say Shimamura has been better so far since she's the one with the maturity to truly think about things from a wider perspective and thus the way she's becoming more accepting to push certain boundaries feels more satisfying. Adachi on the other hand was the more self-conscious one who wanted to see Shimamura naked and yet she had to be prodded by Shimamura herself.

^I feel like Yashiro exerts some kind of influence that makes others take her presence for granted as one of her supernatural traits. Though I don't think what her deal is will ever be fully explained, her mysteriousness is part of the joke/charm.

Awesome chapter, the air is so scorching here today I almost felt like I was in a hot spring myself while reading, pretty appropriate. I knew from the previous chapter that Yashiro would sneak into Shimamura's bag, she did not disappoint.

The situation is pretty awkward, I feel like there has to be a better balance in how the two of them approach other people, so far it's always felt like Adachi hasn't budged an inch and Shimamura is forced to ignore everything else to focus just on her. In that sense I'm really interested in how her next encounter with Tarumi will go.

@shadesofgreymoon This chapter definitely has more typos than usual, you might want to give it a once over when you're able to.

The first chapter split in half we got happened because of a hard drive failure that made her lose what she had drawn of it and she didn't have enough time to redo it entirely, maybe she found out she prefers this format? Also consider that since then, there hasn't been a break yet and next month we're getting a chapter for the six month in a row while before she'd take a break usually every four months, so this might be a better way for her to manage her workload. That said, I do also prefer longer chapters, once they're all published in volume format it doesn't really matter but for the monthly reading experience they're definitely more satisfying. Though it's a pain having to wait two months at times.

Kaede is in a girlship with Yamagishi, they will spend their adulthood platonically living in the same house where they will act like regular old friends and share appliances and chores like the home economy professionals they are.

I think Kaede has a healthier disposition than Konatsu's, if anything seeing them close would probably make her double down on her efforts to earn some money to go see her sisters. Might also explain the chapter's title.

She wouldn't do Fuyuki dirty like that. On that note, I liked how Fuyuki was able to notice that Kaede was feeling down, he won't grow up to be hopeless like his sister.

And while it was only for one page, it was nice to see Konatsu bringing the kouhais to Aoshima, I hope we get to see more of her leading the club in future chapters. She still hasn't figured out what she wants to do and that could help her.

Kaede is firmly in the "so best girl it hurts" category. I hope she can deal with her own loneliness before the end of the series, it's nice to see that it's being expanded upon, I'm guessing her siblings will actually be introduced later on.

By the way, unless the next chapter is over 70 pages long, I'm guessing this volume will have five chapters instead of the usual four. Not that it really matters since the author started to divide them into multiple parts.
