@Waterlemon As someone with zero, cant you just leave them all in all the time? I didnt think people took piercings out often or at all.

Might be a bit too much to show up in school with that many of them. Especially in Japan.

Cute little thing in a big Jeep.

Random question, was that really a Jeep in the orginal work, or was that something the translator put in. And a follow up question, if that really is a Jeep, does the author a get product placement deal for it? I mean, I can't see a lot yuri otaku running out and buying Jeeps.

I mean, there's no need to put anything in when the car is unmistakably a Jeep even without a logo.

It’s clearly a Joop not a Jeep. Jokes aside don’t think it counts as product placement due to the logo not being clearly drawn. If you look back none of the logos technically say Jeep or are the Jeep logo. Pretty sure it’s a WcDonalds situation.

Interestingly, manga often seems to use actual trademarks instead of the WcDonalds and such more common in the anime adaptations.

Ah, I knew it looked familiar. The few images from before now have a manga. ^_^

Hol' up...

I think the time stamps are based on whatever the server time is when the post is made, not our local times. Glad I'm not the only one who's ever noticed that, however.

Weird, because, at least for me, the timestamps in the forums are based on my local times. I assume it depends on a person's account setup?

Small problem with the forum itself that has already been fixed.

I guess Tsubasa is the bottom, and Yuuki top.

The sequel may change your mind.

If there was still someone left with any doubt, this should have made it quite clear.

^ I mean, "this crap" isn't on here, just one very cute image that clearly qualifies as yuri. Whatever else they draw, there's nothing wrong with this particular image as such.

True, but one of the repeated motifs about our Miss Sunflower is people saying, "I didn't know she could make that expression." What exactly is making her make that expression in the reaction shot?

True enough. And it's not like I've really disagreed from the start - after all, we started this whole line of discussion with me assuming exactly that.

Matsuri smiling bright as the sun made my day, and Miss Sunflower's too I'm sure.

I quite honestly expected her to compare Matsuri to the previous Himawari-san at that moment. If not out loud, then at least in her thoughts.

Isn't that basically what she does?

The shot of Miss Sunflower Mk.1 in the first panel of the second tier on p.26 is a matching shot with the top panel of Matsuri on p. 27, and our Miss S.'s reaction shot is her realizing the connection.

Quite possibly, or I likely would not have immediately made the connection. But it's hard to be absolutely sure without actually seeing her thoughts.

Matsuri isn't a part-timer, she just lives there.

Her smile from starting at the café easily rivals Maika's and Natsuki's... :D

And Matsuri got the praise she'd wanted. ^_^

Cute.

While it's a common name, it's also synonym with "very young boys", in various contexts.

It's also the name of a character in Dragon Maid, for the exact same reasons.

"Shoutacon" is the same as "Lolicon", but for boys.

Shouta is not the same as shota. Just saying.

If this is what a TL looks like before proofreading then I've been greatly underestimating the amount of work proofreaders do. That's more than I can handle.

"Proofreader" is a complete misnomer and as one myself it always irked me a little, since it undersells the work being done as merely checking for typos or the like. "Editor" would be a much more appropriate credit for any scanlation I've worked on, and I typically spend 5-10 hours working on getting a translated chapter into a presentable state.

In fansubbing, that certainly is the work of an editor, but for some reason scanlation has decided to use that title only for image editing, which used to confuse me to no end a first.
