Hentai dubs are a direct gift from god, doubly so if Dan Green is in the mix

Classic, Dan Green agreed to Cast it without knowing it was a hentai. But it was a good thing in the end.

Yeah, she likes people. If she didn't, she wouldn't study medicine, and she wouldn't work in that bar.

There's more than doin good as a reason to become a doctor. Top ranked graders area pushed towards being a doctor because it's well paid and has good reputation. You shouldn't believe all doctors are there for the "right reason" just like you shouldn't believe politicians "want to change things for the better".

Ran doesn't seem to care about people. No friends, when she goes out she barely acknowledge people and prefer to stuff her face. At the bar she barely listened to the BF's story. If she truly liked people she would want to listen to them, to talk to them interact on a deeper level.

Her "like" seems like the superficial kind when a person says he/she "likes babies" but awkwardly refuse to hold them when asked. It's a sort of "like" but from a comfortable distance. More because it is moral and the right thing to do rather than coming from the heart.

Maybe I'm wrong but Ran give me this naive feeling, perhaps it's because of her good upbringing like Keiko said compared to her own.

It's the other way around actually. It's Ran that caught the eye of Keiko.

http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/stretch_ch22_5#4

The author crafted a very complex alchemy between those two.

Ran said she likes people, lolwat.

The ex-boyfriend left on his own (we see him on a picture with his luggage), because Keiko pushed him away after her miscarriage. He just couldn't stand her despair. He still tried to support her. Shows he didn't love her unconditionnaly though. She states that the appartment is too big for her, because boyfriend left.

I can't help but think that in similar circumstances, Ran wouldn't have left and would have weathered the storm of despair >.>

Shows how she likes Keiko. Aside her and the family she gived zero fucks about strangers. Inb4 she calls her patients by numbers lol. Which makes me wonder why Keiko caught her eye in the first place.

And yeah I seemed to remember wrong about the BF, probably cause he's not important!

I bought PoE are you happy?!

Now I've been creating a character for 30 minutes.

How is Pillars of Eternity so far? I blew my budget on DAI, so I'm only getting games that will run on sale this year, except for 1 or 2 yuri games from an indie publisher I usually visit. And there is my backlog too. Haha!

It's the good shit. I feel weird that you would trust bioware with full price.

I believe it's mentioned that the boyfriend couldn't stand her mood anymore so he broke up and left. The apartment in which Ran and Keiko are right now (or the one when she first met again with ran if it's not the same) is the one in which Keiko was with the boyfriend

I don't remember him not having Keiko's number... it may be because of my bad memory but I can't find it

That's not what I got from the bar discussion he had with Ran, was there more flashback after that discussion? My memory might be more faulty than yours lol.
In any event, my point on her still stands, ultimately the boyfriend isn't important for anything than showing us keiko's character.
If she wants a long term relationship she cant close herself when hard things are happening. Like a previous poster said, unconditional love is mostly a myth, few are able to give that to another person. Most require that you are useful to them as well for a relationship of any kind continue on.

I beg to disagree. Keiko isn't in denial, because she's not "in love" with Ran. She just needs her very very badly, for her own sanity.

Guess what Keiko has been craving for almost all her life? What her mother never gave her : love. Unquestionning and unconditionnal love, that only a parent usually can provide. Or a child.

"If I can't have something I want, I fill the void with something else". She hasn't changed really : for now, the something else is Ran's love for her.
I don't rule out a yuri ending, but Keiko still has a long way to go before considering it a valid option. Because she needs to get closure about that lack of love, before being able to give it back.

I agree with you, she isn't "in love" but craves it and it's hard for her to give it. For a long time it didn't matter who it was since she slept around. At some point she met that ex boyfriend guy and some sense of normal and steady came in her life. But with the miscarriage everything changed. The boyfriend is at fault for some of it but I suspect she is mostly at fault for the break up. From small glimpse we can see she pushes him back, probably over and over and in the end she most likely left her/their old apartment and changed her phone ( this is why he can't find her at all ). The boyfriend tried to help her, but she needed to help herself and she did not. She went back to her old habits of "if it's too hard to deal with it then just don't". That defense mechanism is also a favourite of mine so I get why she does it. But at some point you have to face things to grow as a person and Keiko isn't quite there yet. If she walks out each time something bad happens, she will stay alone. Because shit happens in life.

Hey, if it's good enough for Caligula...

Caligula is fun but I have to admit I'm partial to Nero because I did a research project on him. Most fun I've ever had on one of those for sure.

Ultimately it's hard to discern which is true or false since Roman historians are known to be anything but objective but I'm sure a lot of it is true.

Ludicrous is the point of hyperbole.

Not always, sometimes hyperbole can still accurately describe the situation, object or someone. Like a person who is so evil that no matter the evil qualities you use to describe this person they all fit like a glove.

How is it that a loli hentai artist has crafted two of the greatest pieces of art humanity has ever known?

I didn't want to be that guy but... "two of the greatest pieces of art humanity has ever known"? Come on now, hyperbole or not that's ludicrous.

You, my ignorant friend, are confusing a preference/taste with something that doesn't exist.

A better word to describe what people think "heterophobia" is, is "heteronegativism". It's a negative attitude/emotion that homosexuals might have, most probably because they suffered at the end of those evil hetero bigots.

Of course this does not apply here because it's purely a sexual reaction ie. it's not their Preference. It's totally okay to go "ewww" and these words do not apply at all.

Jesus, the heterophobia here is scary...

i knew the comments would be a shitstorm but...........can we stop being youtube comments? heterophobia is not a thing that exists.

There's crazier things that people thought about and done, i wouldn't rule it out.

^in addition to what Random Reader said, breaking someone's wall is not so much of doing something with "an effort" whatever you mean by that. Seol-a just being herself, No-rae saw/sees all through that. In contrast to Seol-a's "popular persona" and rumors about her, she's actually very much naive in a cute, adorable, refreshing way. And somehow in real life, that's how it really works. You just spend time and do things together, nothing seemingly out of ordinary. But just like what the last line of the latest chapter said, bam! That person has already morphed your wall into something else called love.

So very true, she has maintain that image to protect herself from others. Before No-rae there wasn't really a lot of people that broke her wall. That childhood friend guy is one, the first time she talks with him in ch 5 or 6 you can see that she acts and speaks without much filter. She yells, blushes, frowns etc... This is why I was happy to see him introduced a while back, to show that she had at least one peer she can talk to honestly.

Seol-a is very alone, I'd wager that even her boyfriend(s) never broke that wall. She might of opened her legs but never her heart. It sounds a bit crass but she isn't the first or last person to do that.

Few days ago I've completed Xenoblade Chronicles for the 3rd time. One of my favourite RPG and game of all time. It's a shame not many people managed to play it because of low numbers of game shipped outside Japan.

In less than a month Pillars of Eternity is coming out. It's basically just like an Infinity Engine game ( Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment ). So if anyone wants to play an old style of RPG it's coming out on the 26th.

Then there's The Witcher 3 coming out in May. Jeebus... Spring and Summer id going to be me lacking sunlight RPGing like mad.

" A Japanese person that can say No " Lol, so true, even when they say no they go in a roundabout fashion.

This chapter also had a slight twist in which the "princess" character kisses the "prince's" hand. Although they personnality is the opposite of their character design. The princess has it all together whilst the prince was losing it emotionally this chapter. It's a little interesting dynamic they've got going there.

Well, aside from the art and c-section line it wasn't memorable. Still... Milfs are a huge fetish for me so I can't help but like it and bookmark it for later... uses.

I remember how I used to hate team based project in school. They make you do this to learn how to work togrther but they seem ignorant on the fact that 90% of the time a single person does the work.

Its really subtle hostage taking, and the one who wants the points the most is the hostage.

Are you joking?

Please tell me you're joking.

I don't think its so far fetched. FOr example recently I've watched a movie in which a lovely character dies. less than an hour later I listened to a song in which the name of the character was mentioned, this was a happy song and yet I was extremely sad wit tears running down my eyes.

Our state of mind and experiences dictate how we view what we see and hear, our rational midnd understand these are two unrelated things. yurifan rationally knows this is an excellent chapter but he/she cant dissociate the two experiences because a similitude, merely a name, and a strong connection is made in the brain, this will dissipate in time because its not really important. But stronger experiences may establish a connection to a name forever or for a very rlong time. Example of sexual assault victims who cant stand someone looking like their aggrezsor or someone with the same surname/name.

P.S. Sorry for the typos im on my phone.

I think theres twom types of readers in here, the ones that cant handle villains and the one that can apprciate it.

I love Remi, she gets away with everything. Imlive my evilness through those kinds of folks.
A recent example of this is the Belichick and the patriots. Some people love them some hate them because they cheat and lie and get away with it.
Like I said, i live my darkness through them. And boy does it feel good, just the dark side guys... We have cookies and are detestable human beings but its good for you.

As for men being portrayed as dangerous, uh, statistically, the world over, the number one threat to women is violence perpetrated by men.

I think statistics show the no.1 threat to women are their male intimate partners, male family members or male friends, which is mindbogglingly worse.

Statiscally the number one threat to anyone... aside maybe violence towards babies is men. We sort of do a lot of stuff.
