The panels where she was falling down the stair seriouly cracked me up. The one where she is plowing into the other girl made laugh harder than any manga on this sight ever has.

There is just something about when, a girl says something like, "I don't get girls at all". I just want to buy them a beer (or an age appropriate substitute). Pat them on the back. And tell them, "Welcome to the club".

I think there is a huge difference in appearance between malnutrition and getting in shape.

The story was just going along. A weird, raunchy, but lighthearted comedy. Then what the fuck sudden tragic end. Seriouly where the hell did that come from.

Oh please! My friends and I came up with that idea back in college. We went on step further, and had the left and right ones give different drinks. My choice was Pepsi for the right, and Heineken for the left.

Edit: After seeing a horror movie about clones, my friends and I also cuncluded that a scientist must have sex with their experiments to do proper science.

When I searched for the Baka-updates page for this manga I got a warning about child sexual abuse imagery being illegal. Which is weird considering this manga is pretty tame.

Meh. It's fine. Reiko seemed to know that Maki wanted to move forward, but was over thinking it. She just needed give her girl a push. I will agree she should have been more forward about it, but it does make good reading. It gives the reader a moment of tension, and a beautiful romantic resolution.

I'm actually a little surprised how many people are admitting they were fooled. I was suspicious as soon as I saw moderate amounts of sex. The series is called Virgins Empire after all.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I know it can't be of the likes of everyone, but we take lots of work and effort to do them and to make people laugh.

I guess I will give credit to the up-loader. This was well put together. I thought the chapter was actually done by the orginal artist as a joke.

So it's like one of those episodes of a TV show when one of the charaters wakes up at the end to reveal the whole thing was just a dream? What a rip off! Although I figured it would turn out to be a an April fools day joke.

Yes, but they were technically going out only between chapters 7 and 11. If we only counted sex, then it would be just chapters 10 and 11. If we really stretch it to vague emotional cheating, then it's 4-11, but I don't recall any other story being tagged that way.

Whichever way, unless this new arc moves to Cheating in some way, it will make it 1/3 - doesn't really seem necessary to tag the whole work.

The further down the line, the less Cheating tag put on the whole story feels appropriate. At this point, Cheating is present, looking quite generously, in chapters 7-11. 4-11 if we really stretch it to the absolute limits.

Just a pet peeve, because it always puts me off, before I remember what it is.

I've been wondering for quite some time now if the author puts half the amount of scrutiny we do into the characters' actions or if she simply sees Kase's behavior as cute and romantic.

Honestly I think it's the latter. Kase's feelings have been showing more and more signs of becoming toxic, but the manga still has a light and airy tone. The series doesn't even have a Drama tag.

EDIT: MY guess is we will get to see Yamada's jealous side when Kase's roomate realizes that crush she has been developing on Kase and tries to make a move.

My silly yuri skepticism aside, I hope Morishima Akiko doesn't try and turn this bizarre little misunderstanding between Mari and Ran into a multi-chapter story arc. I really wanted to get an update on the couple but this premise is thin and forced.

This chapter seems to suggest that Mari didn't completely stop sleeping with guys, which kills my theory, and also saddens me.

Tolerably certain they're referring to the time before she started dating Ran.

You might be right but it's just the impression that I got.

I just re-read the chapter and literally can't see how. Everything Eri muses about her implies past tense when it comes to that.
