^It's coming. Can't remember if they gave a release date of some sort yet, but there's a trailer. Unless you mean specifically a continuation of Jill et all's story. Maybe they'll get some screen time, but mostly as cameos I would guess.

As for het couples not understanding... I literally can't imagine how that's possible even without education. Building furniture from Ikea is more complicated and those include instructions.

Going strictly by the anime, what with that being all I've seen, I'm picking up plenty "I love her" vibes from Sophia. Same as everyone else, really.

Maybe I'm biased, seeing as the one thing I don't want is a regular ol' paired ending. I'd certainly like to think that more or less the same thing you described with Maria happens with the others too. In a certain way, a paired ending with Maria would be my worst case scenario. With Maria being the protagonist of the game's story, but not the actual story, it would be pretty disappointing if things end up treating her specially in both.

edit: I do want to emphasize that I don't dislike Maria herself. She compliments Catarina perfectly well, and I myself like her very much. I'm also not trying to say someone shouldn't support one ship over another, or like one character over another. My favorite character, aside from Catarina of course, is probably one of the least liked among people on dynasty.

I guess it's really more of a pantheon, huh? (Also I'm ashamed I forgot about the queen of NicoTori! Tsukiko is the reason I fell in love with those two! Her art and her stories are exquisite.)

edit: Also I have to say, I like Maria and Mary too, but where's the love for Sophia? I see a lot of people aboard the Maria or Mary train but hardly anyone for Sophia.

So what's up with the "otome VN isekai" genre that is, apparently, a thing? Like, it's cool and all, I'm more interested in getting some more of that than I am getting another of the average power trip fantasy isekai that seem to crop up like a bad rash. I just don't understand the sudden popularity. Was it an untapped market finally being recognized or what?

Also I love Catarina so much and wish I could be part of her harem. :P

@Sup Look up Bofuri, it's on netflix if you can watch it there. It's very good, the only show I watched other than Eizouken last season.

edit: There's some yuri undertones if you squint but it's not a romantic show, just a comedy. A great take/parody on the "VR video game isekai" genre.

(on a completely different note...) I replayed the game a couple days ago just to select all the wrong choices so I could see what happens. I'm glad I have a bad memory, I got to solve all the puzzles for the first time again. :P

I still love the first four images uploaded of them more than anything, particularly the fourth. There's a serene beauty in them that wouldn't carry over to the manga very well.

FWIW the premise and the design of the protagonist made me hesitant at first, but I gave it a try and now I'm totally in love with the game. You can skip it, but you'll be missing out on something great. And pancakes.
