Ah, interesting little side stories. This ship is pretty awks cus we've hardly seen of them, as well as the fear for Shiena's life when she's with Otoya, but it's nice to that her killer urges are shown to be a little bit more toned down when it involved Shiena. It makes the ship more comfortable for me, when I don't have to worry (or at least, worry less) about one person raping and murdering the other..

On a side note, "advenge" isn't a word. I'm not sure I get it either. If Shiena was to "avenge" this girl (therefore, get revenge on her behalf, since the girl helped Shiena with her own revenge it seems), and Otoya kills that girl, how does it lead to Shiena owing Otoya a favour? I'm not sure why killing the person one owes a favour to, leads to owing a favour to the murderer. It seems more to me that Shiena has to avenge that girl's death instead, since she got fucking killed and all. Idk what the girl wanted Shiena to initially do, but surely, whatever wrong was done to her, isn't greater than getting murdered

It would be pretty mean and uncharacteristic of Yuzumori to react with such disgust if she did understood Mimika's true intentions since she's been shown to be quite kind towards Mimika in the past.

She's a nice kid, but sharp/on-her-guard enough too. Depends how she understood Mimika's words I guess.
I think it could really go anywhere; maybe she misunderstood and felt betrayed, maybe she did understand and is really taken aback and disgusted. All we know for sure, is that Mimika more or less ambiguously made: a confession, mentioned not being able to stay friends, cried. In response, however Yuzumori may have understood what she meant, Yuzumori was first surprised as she listened, and then frowned, gritted her teeth, made a face. And from Mimika's pov, there was this doom and gloom mood + a sense of distance between them. Seems that from Mimika's pov at least, that Yuzumori understood, and is disgusted/appalled with her.

On the other hand, I respect Mimika and her feelings, even if they're not socially appropriate. She's been trying really hard, even though it all came out. I respect her efforts.
I wonder if Yuzumori-san 100% understood what Mimika meant, or if she's just hung up on the "I just can't stay friends" part and interpreted the tears as something else, that essentially, Mimika lied in the previous chapter and is rejecting their friendship.

When Agari faced Koyori again (ep3), they said that she's always been great at her backhand, it's what she's always trained because from experience, she scored more points with the backhand than her forehand, even if she preferred to play with the latter. After her match with Koyori, she was reminded of how much she loved playing with her forehand, and then started practicing it again (with Munemune). We see the results of that when she faced Kiruka and won with it.
So when she faced Zakuro, it's just that she brought out her backhand again, and started smashing with both, rather than just one or the other. She didn't magically get better, she's had that smash it since the beginning of the series.

I wasn't planning to (+I had 3 exams in the following days), but that's what I ended up doing, reread all of Rokuroichi's stuff, and it was better than I remembered. It was pretty sweet and casual for some, and angstier for others, but a pleasure to read nonetheless

Also it was mentioned here that after Momo, iirc, Mana was the best girl. I'm only halfway through the story, where Mana's just a huge pretentious bitch, im assuming this means she gets incredible positive character development because rn I cant lmao, I hate her so much xD She used to seem nice but then reading her dialogues/monologues became more and more awkward as she became more and more double faced, and rn she's just straight up pretentious and rude
Tho I definitely see why Momo is very well liked, she has a cool style/design, and it might be the contrast from her initial cold and harsh attitude, but she's kinder/more caring now, its nice/probably moe
