NTR is okay, not great, but not terrible either. Never really understood why people continually bash Kodama Naoko, maybe they’re that strongly against cheating? I would’ve fully liked NTR if there was more character and relationship development (between Yuma and Hotaru).
I was satisfied with the ending of Kuzu no Honkai (because I detest Mugi), but would’ve preferred Hanabi and Sanae together. Sanae legitimately had feelings for Hanabi, though she went about it the wrong way. Hell, the series itself went about yuri the wrong way. It felt like the yuri route was never even an option. Instead of Hanabi and Sanae actually trying to see if they can be compatible lovers with mutual feelings, Sanae is all “I love you, you don’t love me. We can’t ever be together so just use me for sex” uhhh ok.
Citrus is everything and Mei is my goddess, that is all.
Lastly, I’d argue that Yuma’s boyfriend and Himeko’s wannabe boyfriend aren’t very decent human beings because they’re consumed by selfish desires and don’t really consider their bae’s feelings. Like, who the hell gets severely butthurt because someone doesn’t want to have sex with you?

You’ve presented plausible theories, I think it’s a combination of A and C. What Hiro likes about Chiharu is that Chiharu likes her and thinks she’s pretty lol. I’ll bet Hiro likes that other model (she mentioned how much prettier she looks in the magazine), which is maybe another reason why she didn’t introduce Chiharu as her girlfriend. As for the end, I don’t think it was suicide. As others said, she probably fell asleep in the bathtub. Prescription sleeping meds are strong and can actually be quite dangerous, especially the side effects. Doctors don’t usually prescribe them to younger people and definitely not for “fourteen days in a row” since they’re addictive. Anyway, I agree with you, Chiharu is probably forced into this cycle of eternal suffering due to her unresolved regrets

What a nice, calming ending. I would’ve liked it to be longer so we could see more of them as a couple, but this is satisfying too. Yeah it was rushed and solved the problem it laid out for 14 chapters in a few pages; however, it doesn’t feel like anything’s missing. This is one of my favorite student x teacher manga

I meaaaaan, this is sorta what happened at the end of season 2 anyway. Unnecessary senpai leaves after love confession, Reina comes to tell Kumiko to get her gay ass back inside (and back to her). The tv anime series, at least, ends with Reina and Kumiko :’)
