Off the rails, full speed ahead, choochoochooo ...

These sorts of scenes always make me so nostalgic for school life, when Random Generic Background people always just stood around commenting on people's skills and openly expressing their admiration and such.

That translation though ...

Really, even in a supposedly cute and sexy form, azu's abs still stands out. I start to believe those abs are not product of transformation.

Might just be that abs are part of the transformation package, so Ruby got them too. Makes more sense to me than Azu somehow being ripped for no reason.

Oh, adorable was usual
Oh, but do we know in what the mistress work?

No. Though her implied socioeconomic status and often being buried in paperwork suggests whatever it is she's at least at the management level. Could be some kind of business, could be family property (those could be startlingly diverse), both...

Cat breeding, of course.

Oh, that is that thing. Personally I would have loved to love the story but it was just so crappily written, like most of the wn-adaptations. And the first manga chapter doesn't exactly improve on it. Meh.

The chapter feels kinda like the next one is eager to reveal that cat's lifespan is far shorter than human ones are or some other tragedy ...

Panties stripping should only happen on the 3rd day onwards at the office!

The problem of the chapter probably stems from the fact that the concept somehow needed to be explained to the reader and the only real way of doing that is one of the characters having it explained to them. I suppose they could have gone the "AS YOU KNOW, ..." route, but that tends to be clunky and annoying, too.

It's not like it's not a cute read, but I don't really see how this can go anywhere, and I guess I'm not that much into it that I won't find it dull if just sticks with "hamsta cute!" without anything else ...

I found the entire "idol excursion" kinda forced. Sorta "alright, we got some maid stuff, now what else? Mh, idols, yeah, that fits."

My working theory is the author Ruined His Life by browsing TVTropes.

To be fair the "lolibaba" trope in Japanese fiction isn't unique to this and they often come with some extra gimmick to make them extra cute. And they are especially prominent in boss positions; presumably because juxtaposition is funny and such ...

But it seems a bit out of place in this one.

I really don't get why this series needed the tiny bunny boss.

Frankly it's the best manga I've read. And I'm not qualifying this with anything or saying "in that regard" or "up until here" or something. I just think it's the best.

When she turned down the money I expected her to go "I'll take it but only if you make me do something for it" or somesuch thing, to keep the theme of the story.

This and Transistor Enus might not always deliver on the yuri goods, but they are still amazing. Totally not biased either.

I noticed that the art changes a bit. Not much, but compared to Chapter 1, they look much older.
Am I the only one who noticed that?

No. They went from round heads that look super young to sharper ones to the standard ones with the triangular chin shape thing. Definitely makes them look older (maybe time is progressing in the story instead of just art refinement?).

Good to see Achiga: Saki-hen sidestory reliably continued.

I don't think Ritz even remembers the male characters at all.

Someone's gotta make the tacos ...

At least there's no pretense that this is about a story anymore.

I'm saying that like it's a positive thing. Sorry, it's getting too retarded for me.

It was fun, but it's always the same issue with romance stories - "woo, finally some progress ... oh, it's over".

Sena

Hopefully that doesn't mean it's immediately over.

It's not said as explicitly as in many others, but it's the usual stuff, isn't it?

I don't know how much of that is just being scared, but it comes across to me like there's also a bit of "unusual stuff" this time - namely she feels vaguely jealous, or perhaps not good enough.

Bullseye 200 points? Are Japanese using different darts boards? 'cause I only know that as 50 ... which is why you go for 3x20, not bullseye ^^;

I don’t think that was the dartboard proclaiming 200 points but Kyouka who doesn’t seem to know how the game really works anyway.

On page 19, it's actually written inside the bullseye. Actually, looking at that picture, and I can't believe I didn't notice earlier ... this board doesn't have doubles and triples oO

Plus it just makes things extra delicious that all the gay stuff Ichika's been teaching Aria were all first experiences for her.

This emphasis on first experiences is precisely the type of thing that annoys me about (Japanese) romances, so ... ^^
