I'm going to continue along the path of believing that Kase-san and Yamada very much love each other and are generally kind, good-hearted people who mean well but who occasionally either (A) can't articulate that very well (because they're adorable dorks, because of writing choices by Takashima-sensei, because of translation choices by /u/, etc); or (B) behave poorly because they're human and thus fallible and we all make mistakes.

I will continue along this path until given a clear and very unambiguous reason to do otherwise.

I can picture the scene: Shoukaku visits Kaga to try and convince her that the 5th Carrier Group ain't all that bad. And, well, one thing led to another and...

Now I wanna see Kaga x Zuikaku x Shoukaku. Get both of the 5th Carrier Group girls in there working on Kaga. Next morning Akagi notes that Kaga is suddenly much more accepting of the 5th Carrier Group in battle, and smiles without knowing why.

What's the latest from the official manga? Hasn't been updated around here in forever. Last I saw (on another site), Kobayashi finally admitted that she felt Some Kind Of Way(tm) about Tohru, and that it was maybe romantic, and that maybe she didn't know how she felt about that. Any progress on that front since then?
