We get nothing we don’t even get a wedding the ending feels rushed and it leaves the reader feeling emotionally manipulated. I enjoyed these books until the last chapter which just felt completely alien to the rest of the story.

I know it's been a while i read this but i don't remember that moment where one of them die.

Anime special 4. Which for some people apparently seems to mean that nothing else can possibly happen in the actual novels before they eventually reach that point despite this being published before volume 10 where, surprise surprise, progress is still being made... >_>

Not only that, but the special very much confirms the two spent a long happy life together... (Not even going to comment on the insanity of expecting the series itself cover the special-only girls instead of the actual Adachi and Shimamura after volume 10...)

The ending of this completely killed all the love I had for this story. What a complete betrayal by the author. We get nothing but angst for 80% of this crap and then a few glimpses of happiness with no kisses no mutual love, nothing and then the end…. Bro f this messed up story.

Even with the middle of the series being what it was, the ending was actually quite nice.

The series' name is slightly puzzling. "Be careful onee-san" can only be a dialogue line from Mai, something Mai is telling Tae. But what is it about? What does Mai need to tell Tae she has to be careful about?

I wouldn't put it past this series to go the "They go to different places after high school, maintain a LDR and come out with a strengthened relationship for it" route, as long as it doesn't end with graduation and does the usual "separation-timeskip-reunion" shtick.

Do hope the series will keep going and actually show their college time if this is the way it decides to go.

I can't possibly see it skip this kind of troublesome times, considering the title.

And I certainly wouldn't mind seeing this carry on even into their working lives similarly to A Room For Two.

Although it might be time for the relationship to stop being a secret once they move together.

I do expect them to end up both in Tokyo similarly to Kase-san, even if only because it makes it easier to write. Personally I wouldn't mind at all the next storm our flowers need to weather to be going to school in different cities, and them coming out of this with an even stronger relationship.
