Is this good? I started reading the manga when it first came on here but I couldn’t commit to it. Is it worth the time?

It's amateur storytelling. Basic light novel shit. If you like that sort of stuff it's like any other of its kind and you'd probably like it.

Plotting is a bit clunky, but it's unique enough to be interesting. The manga is probably the worst version of the story, though

almost every anime that has only girls as a cast is considered yuri in japan. ironically most of the time non yuri animes have much more yuri in it than actual yuri animes.

I personally am really enjoying the anime (haven't quite finished it yet). It's a very interesting concept, and the action and plot are engaging.
