Given how the anime was often confusing and messy, plus the low production, I think a season 2 is very unlikely. It was fun, but the anime definitely had a lot of problems. At the very least it made me want to pick the manga back up from where I previously took a break, and read the LN as well.

^Oh yeah I knew of the manga before the anime was even announced, never got super far into it, but I just remember that it wasn't Yuri centric from what I read, and the anime so far isn't either. So it's interesting to know that there's seemingly more to the Yuri than I know? Still it at least doesn't hit the ground running with overt subtext immediately like Machikado Mazoku does haha. Also I didn't know that there's short-comics of these two out there, guess I'll have to do some research, and thanks!

Wait this is a series?! Also isnt 600W kinda excessive? I don’t want boob burns

600W is pretty low power for a microwave. Mine is 1200W and it's just a regular countertop off-the-appliance-store-shelf LG.

My bigger (pun intended) concern is the product range - Japanese F isn't that big. Seems like you'd end up with a lot of unsold product on the lower end as well.

Hey now, people appreciate breasts of all sizes. I'm certain they will sell.

Goddamn Helen and possibly Miranda went out just like that, guess we'll never know what's up with them? Can't help but to feel slightly disappointed, guess that goes to show they were just sides to present the power scale to the reader, still a great chapter with lot of developments though. Also, quite intrigued where do they go from here now that the entire church is pretty much out of the picture.

Yeah I knew they were both going to die...but I'm honestly super disappointed by this chapter confirming it. For starters it means their deaths were easily predictable, and for me they felt cheap, like the characters were just throwaways despite being cool. I really wanted to learn more about them...but nope they simply die instantly just to show off how strong the enemy is...which possibly brings in some issues with power scaling for me, alas. I'll try to keep having fun with the main party and action, but while this chapter did have some interesting developments, it also unfortunately left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Edit: I talked about it with my friend, and they said "It sucks when a character is just a walking death flag for the purpose of establishing scale." Which I 100% agree with.

Wait I didnt think Miranda died? I thought it was just Helen?

Well I mean looking at Noel it seems like she very much so had the power to kill Miranda too. The only way she could live is if Noel let her. I doubt she could outrun her. So she’s most certainly dead unless the author wants her too to go on some revenge quest or something.

That was pretty brutal though. I spent a few moments looking at that death page.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's implied she's dead, given how outmatched they were. Regardless even just Helen's death would be frustrating enough for the reasons I stated.

Boo. I'm not someone who likes spotlight stealing characters but I hate predictable boring deaths of hyped characters even more. Especially since the two of them haven't really crossed the "annoying and deserved to die" threshold yet (if they would ever). At the very least don't make them die like pathetic jobbers.

I think our frustrations and the like are very much on the same page, and I 100% agree with you.

Say whatever you want about the whole mom arc, but the confession and the kiss? Absolutely perfect. Plus the manga isn't over yet! So we get to see more fluff and dates and kissing and handholding! Well maybe not that last one, they'll probably censor that

Yeah I was very satisfied by the confession and kiss, perfection is something I'd definitely agree with here.

^There's a lot of incest art of the sibling pairs in this picture, so I'm pretty certain the entire thing is meant to be Yuri centric.

Oh, I remember this WN. It absolutely should not be taken seriously. Just enjoy the yuri and the comically stupid douchebags being put in their place.

Yeah I think this sounds about right.

I should note I'm not complaining about the series so far. I honestly know very little about it, and have mostly only heard loose things about the original source material. I did say that the men are cartoonishly evil and that the series does feel like it's intentionally slanted in that direction, which I believe to be a likely correct statement, but I don't believe I ever said that was a bad thing. Fiction exists to express all sorts of feelings and ideas, and if the author is feeling wronged by all the crappy sexism in the world and is using this narrative of cartoonishly evil men getting their asses kicked as catharsis, more power to the author I say.

Edit: Plus I know also know cartoonishly evil people do actually exist in real life as well. Though I don't believe they're the norm, as the average person is just trying to keep their head down and get by day to day. There's also people that are constantly striving to improve and make the world a better place. Lots of people in the world and all that.

And you know what not every man is depicted cartoonishly evil in it, seriously though have these people even read the LN before complaining?

Well a lot of people, including myself, are stating our views based off the manga alone. I don't think people need to read the LN to have a valid opinion on the first chapter of the manga. A lot of takes here are going purely off what the manga has presented so far. Which I believe is perfectly fine.

As Serenta said in response to this comment: "I suspect most of these complaints - if not all - are coming from people who haven't yet read the LN even once."

But that's normal, while I believe people who are taking this too seriously are wasting their time and should reconsider how they enjoy a fictional manga, we still have the right to comment about THE manga, and yeah there's a light novel... But even light novel readers didn't have 10 or 50 chapters from the very start to have a "valid" opinion before commenting what they think of the introduction.

^I don't believe so. It's mostly a ship based on their...breast size...and height from what I know, Gura is 141cm and Rushia is 143cm, or I guess about 4'6 vs 4'7 or something close to that.

People complaining about every men being depicted cartoonishly evil should go and read the LNs again. There is also a reason why its a fantasy setting and the reason for so much of sexism in it is revealed in the novel. And also try living in some of the countries around where I live and then tell if these cartoonishly evil men don't exist. I am not 100% sure but sexism in Japan is very prevalent and an author trying to up it to get a point across is nothing bad.

Ps. Read the novel again up till second volume

Also I hope they don't come complaining about it again and again in every other chapter. If you don't like the subject and the way it is being potrayed in this story complaining one is enough. Thank you.

This is the first thing I thought of honestly, this series seems directly like a jab at the toxic work industry in Japan. Where at least some men I've heard treat women like they're not "actual" workers, and instead are there temporarily until it's time for them to get married and make a baby.

So I think this series is an intentional exaggeration, while also jabbing at the nonsense sexism that happens daily in real life. It seems very possible that the men being cartoonishly evil might be an intentional choice, but it's sometimes hard trying to figure out what an author's exact intentions are.

Lol with the over the top asshole men in this universe but YAY for the yuri fantasy battle! I've been waiting for this since I've heard of the novel, in fact I think we discussed the title when it was announced right here.... did I make that post? can't remember, but yeah sexiled is like ... not bad but ... ughhh xD

I'll call it Exiled Team from now on for convenience ...and yeah what up with those MMO clothes she's wearing? let me guess...+20 int or something but designed by some guy lol

Yeah "Sexiled" sounds like the name of a strip club in some edgy early 2000s M for mature game heh

Just a heads up, this eventually turns hard into "all men are cartoonishly evil to the point of complete absurdity." If you're just in it for the gay, there's plenty of gay. But if shit like "women wear bikini armor despite it offering no defense and get stabbed in the stomach because men tell them to" breaks your SoD, you won't be able to enjoy this story.

TBH the men are already cartoonishly evil. An entire bar of sexist men basically telling her to "get back in the kitchen", definitely felt a bit absurd and slanted to a specific tone. I can't imagine this series going in any direction that's different. So if at least the fantasy elements like magic are fun, and the yuri is cute, I might continue the series. Though it definitely seems like it's not meant to be taken seriously.

RIP Aria and Ichika's makeout time. Also I like how Sacchan accidentally recommended them a sexy lesbian horror movie because she fell asleep during the lewd parts.

Either that or she's actually an amazing wingman.
