I like it. Aya and Sei'selfishness is the reason why their chemistry is in sync. People here love to project their own set of standards in a relationship too much. Their realtionship is not healthy? That's the point. It was never healthy to begin with.

True. I think people want it to be more all cotton candy and bubble gum. Toxic relationships in yuri isn't welcome because people like to brought their own beliefs and sometimes self-insert. Their relationship for me is kind of intoxicating, it's bad but it makes you feel all sorts of emotion

(Also, Aya isn't a child anymore yet they still treat Sei and ped)

I don't self insert myself into manga. I'm not projecting my standards on the manga, I'm stating my own personal opinion, and I'm not saying the author should do anything different. I'm also not saying people shouldn't enjoy the manga.

I also know the point of the manga is that the characters are toxic and the relationship isn't healthy. I'm very aware of that. I'm still here reading it to see where it ends up. I shouldn't have to defend myself for saying I don't like how the author romanticizes selfishness. I can read and find a story interesting, while still holding that opinion.

Edit: I also don't want everything to be "cotton candy and bubble bum", I can read and enjoy works like that and works like this for different reasons. I never said I hated this manga, if I did I would have stopped reading pretty quickly. Again I find the work interesting, I'm just not personally a fan of the romanticized selfishness here. It's not a black and white thing of love it or hate it, I can have a nuanced opinion and I try my best to do so.

One of the biggest problems for me is that the author REALLY loves to romanticize selfishness. I think it's really weird.

My Tiny-Oni-Loli-Mom can't possibly be this cute.

@Chai, I don't who you're talking about, all I can say is people trying to apply IRL morals and logic to drawings is a slippery nonsense slope. It's a whole can of worms, been there and done that dance with people countless times. There's a lot to say on the topic, but it's often pretty pointless and this isn't the right place to talk about it. It'd be better to not trouble the mods further with the topic here.

Getting the conversation back on topic of the art. I really hope this series has a happy ending for these two.

Oh for fuck's sake. Of course this is the direction the author decided to go in.

^Edit: Not talking about you directly, but people I've been seeing around talking about this.

If people are going to put stock in worrying about fictional stylized anime character ages and body types, they should have been boycotting this manga from the start. Given the sexual nature of this manga, nudity, and "younger" looking characters. Why people want to boycott him AFTER learning he's drawn for LO, one of the main loli hentai-magazines in Japan, is honestly really weird and hypocritical to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if this manga is banned in numerous countries for it's content, especially Australia. However it's being legally released in English for some countries soon. That's a whole can of worms though.

I've also seen a (SFW) collection of LO cover art being legally sold in the states, in book stores. So people better start boycotting some bookstores while they're at. Heck they might as well boycott every artist and author that follows or is friends with any artist that's ever drawn sexually explicit fanart of a large quantity of anime characters out there. Apologizes for rambling, it's just so silly to me.

Men drawing boobs through clothes: "heheh boobe :)"
Men drawing boobs without clothes: "oh god oh god uhhh how do physics work again, where does this weight go, what are the right shapes, ive never seen a real boob before, aaaaah oh no okay I'll just draw the exact same lines I always do when the clothes are on, and hope none of my readers know how boobs work either"

Do we actually know if the creator is a man? If there's no proof of gender they might be a woman. I just think assumptive sexism towards male creators gets really old, especially as there's plenty of men that know how to draw breasts really well. I've seen several times on here people that are surprised when a creator is actually a woman, and on the other side I've seen people surprised when a creator is a man.

Plus the first thing on the creator's Twitter bio translates to "Rookie Cartoonist", so the creator acknowledges that they've got room to grow and improve.

I really hope the author addresses that they're "not friends" next chapter...

Rom-Coms are fun, but it can easily and quickly get really frustrating when the relationship and characters never actually progress.

Very nice. I love seeing Siege and Indra, and Reed doesn't get enough fanart so her getting in on some Yuri is a great sight.

This moment was honestly the best way to end the playthrough. Kiara delivers fan-art fuel in the most adorable ways.

Seems more likely a crossdresser to me.

Also seems possible thinking about it, hmm.

Dont blame them if you are too chicken to confess girl.

She put her tongue in her mouth in the last one cut her some slack

And the girl on the receiving end STILL thinks they're just friends. Which is the main point here, you have the two girls who are in love with the other two girls that are both EXTREMELY DENSE.

We need a "crazy characters" tag I think haha

There would be a lot more works with the tag than without it, though.

Hmm, maybe debatable? Though everyone is crazy to somebody out there I suppose lol

I just think the characters in this series are a bit more off the deep end than maybe usual.
