I can't quite get over the "both of you" comment. Added on to the ending, it really makes it feel like Umi is the other woman, rather than triangle drama. The way Kotori talks doesn't seem to shoot down one interpretation or the other, so I guess the question is: does Honoka know?

Maybe it's because I'm not too active in these forums(though I do follow along), but I've never had the urge to change my avatar from Cirno and Reimu since I set it(meanwhile, I've changed it constantly elsewhere). Sadly, it looks like that series has been abandoned.

Well, considering that these were apparently added onto a second run of the doujin, it is apropos.

All three love the other two, which simplifies things a tad compared to the usual case of multiple partners for one of the parties.

With all the Science Babies stories, it would really be nice to see more about the expectant science mothers, which everybody just kind of glosses over. Just looking at the two images there are on the site makes me salivate over the possibilities.

And outside the yuri niche, there really needs to be more nice manga with the tag, rather than it just being the cherry on top of the defilement pie 99% of the time. :(

I wouldn't say Homura did nothing wrong; she acted with the best of intentions, but I'd expect Homura's character arc to involve realizing she crossed the line.

I have viewed it as some kind of societal/cultural norm that favors the male in the relationship in that it eventually blots out the woman's heritage and in this day and age (at least here in the States), why should it be assumed that the woman will be automatically changing her last name??

I think the underlying concept is the woman is the one marrying into the man's family(patrilinealism and all that). It's also been the norm for step kids to take their new father's name(I think that's falling off quicker than the married name) and I doubt the practice will end anytime soon for adopted children.

Is there any interaction amongst the female characters in Ocarina of time beyond the those sisters and Nabooru and Zelda and Impa? There being nothing explicit is to be expected since hardly anybody does anything except when speaking directly to Link, but I don't recall any of Link's haremettes coming anywhere near each other.

^ That twist seems a little far(though it's hard to tell the exact angle), but everything else looks just fine to me. Is there anything I'm missing?

I don't recall it snowing here in over a decade. As a kid, I loved it the one or two times it happened, but as an adult, I like my Christmases green.

@Waki_Miko: That's not quite my point - there's no backstory. The way Rebellion ended means there needs to be one(remember, Homucifer rewrote the world and kept them in the same house; I'm pretty sure she's not allowed to have plot holes like Homulily).

My favorite pairing from Love Live is definitely Rinpana. Their whole dynamic as a couple pushes them both a lot further than they'd ever get alone and they seem to be able to see where the other wants to go.

My most enduring favorite pairing of all time is MadoHomu, which needs no explanation(and I'm not really fit to give one).

@ari-chan: Rebellion never does address the question of why Kyouko's living with Sayaka, so there's definitely plot holes to be filled in by the damn sequel(also, I'd like it to answer the question of whether Homura has any real basis for shipping Saotome-sensei and Nakazawa-kun or if her calling on him just stuck in her mind after a few loops).

Regarding lock abilities, from the way telamon put it, it sounds like the official EN version is(taken from one of my URs):

Skill:Love Arrow Shot! Lv 1(Max 8)
Effect: Every 9 seconds, there is a 36% chance that the timing window will ease for 5 seconds

It'd also explain how the hell that ability class completely changed with the relaunch from "the reward is fortified".

I don't wake up periodically(last time I laid down for a three hour nap ended not very well), but I've definitely put off going to bed a time or two so that my LP would still be regenerating if I slip in a round before work(ideally two, to keep it building when I go on break).

But I never spend Love Gems to restore my LP, so I never set my goal for events as higher than getting the card that's up for grabs and maybe getting in the top 10K. It'd be nice to idolize an event character, but I'm not made of money and I'd rather save my Love Gems for scouting.

As amusing as the sudden trip through idville was, I've reread the story a couple of times and there's actually not much to go on that Ikeda-san isn't just being silly like others have mentioned(I wonder if she likes Sasameki Koto?).

Throwing my hat into the ring, let's not forget that in the anime Rin literally dragged Hanayo into joining and Hanayo forced Rin into the center when she clearly wasn't comfortable with it. The context is new, but the dynamic going on in this doujinshi doesn't strike me as anything new for these two.

I think this may well be the first doujin I've seen so much as mention pre-magical girl Homura, which is a crying shame - it's territory that deserves exploring.

The anime pretty clearly establishes NozoEri. But, given that the manga has Umi in the kendo club, I think we can safely agree multiple continuities exist, so there's no need to get pissy over it. The background info's interesting, though - are the Diaries translated somewhere?

So far everything was from the tankoubons, so it's going to be a while.

Some of the album(single?) covers have them grabbing onto seemingly random other members, so I guess that might have something to do with it(NB: I've only seen any of the covers via SIF and could very well be missing something major).

Yeah, at this point in time, it's a love-hate relationship with all of these angsty HomuMado stories....
