Pa3ciaxD, Magical girls have symbols on their fingernail that's on the finger that they keep their soulgem in ring form on.
That's Kyouko's symbol, but the author didn't put the detail in.

No body has mentioned how Kyouko has little heart reflections in her eyes.
Guess that confirmed she's canon gay for Blue ice-cream.

That Kyouko gets to be happy like this after the childhood she had is the greatest thing about Rebellion.

This is interesting. if this is post Rebellion/ in the Homura Universe and Kyouko still has her emblem then she (and probably Mami as well) are still magical girls. i never thought of this before. Very, very interesting.

@ari-chan: Rebellion never does address the question of why Kyouko's living with Sayaka, so there's definitely plot holes to be filled in by the damn sequel(also, I'd like it to answer the question of whether Homura has any real basis for shipping Saotome-sensei and Nakazawa-kun or if her calling on him just stuck in her mind after a few loops).
tit for tat
Feb 10, 2015 4:50PM
@aolten: My thoughts exactly.
@Polycell: Pretty sure it's just written off as Kyouko would have no home otherwise, so she stays with Sayaka.

I thought it was implied the reason Kyouko stays with Sayaka was that Homulily unconsciously shipped them.

@Waki_Miko: That's not quite my point - there's no backstory. The way Rebellion ended means there needs to be one(remember, Homucifer rewrote the world and kept them in the same house; I'm pretty sure she's not allowed to have plot holes like Homulily).

@Polycell Because Homura wanted to make a universe in which everyoene (err... almost everyone...) incl. Sayaka and Kyoko had happy lives. In case you missed it, Kyoko and Sayaka kind of had the hots for each other in Rebellion, getting some big scenes together incl. the whole "sorry for leaving you scene." I mean, Kyoko and Sayaka have had continual development in their relationship since early in the original series.
I don't think it was out of place, and I certainly don't think there was no backstory. I mean, some of their relationship is subtextual, but it's Japan, what'd'ya expect? Getting people to acknoledge homosexulity even exists is like pulling teeth. That said, their relationship in general still got tons of development. If you want to know why they're living together, read between the lines. It's not a big leap.
Besides, didn't Gen Urobuchi saying he started to like KyoSaya after reading doujins for the original series?
