Same, just read it elsewhere. It didn't just imply, it was pretty clearly outright showing she had been abused or assaulted.

The way she spoke about loneliness and then fear, and the imagery that corresponded with those words--a "?" as she looks up from her book on the bench, an image of first a shadow looming over, then a hand caressing her face, and then finally a partial shot of her dress hitting the ground--either she got abused by a stranger or she was systematically abused by someone close to her. The deeper implication is that going through that caused her to shut off/out her feelings and emotions, resulting in the "cool" attitude toward others that she's infamous for; and that she was triggered by seeing Asuka knew how to kiss, causing either a fear Asuka was being abused OR simply bringing back old yet horrible memories and baggage that she just doesn't know how to cope with. Either way, shit just got real heavy.

Watching the train wreck just went from morbid curiosity to dread for me in the 2 minutes it took for me to read and take in this last chapter . Goddamn.

I dunno when this was drawn exactly but it was probably during the time when people of Japan were less accepting of yuri and yaoi than they are now. The same reason why there weren't as many long standing yuri serials up until this decade and why even Morinaga Milk's GF was axed.

It's not that. The original manga first released in 2016 and ended in 2017 and it was originally published online. At least, that's according to the Wiki.

So my guess is that that's all they were contracted to release and it just didn't get picked back up again/extended.

I did not enjoy having a queen size bed as a single person; it DOMINATED my whole room and made it impossible to buy furniture.

Well to be fair mine does rather dominate my room now, but I live in a small one-bedroom apartment so it's not like I have much space anywhere else, lol. I have enough room in there for a dresser, TV, and 3 guitars so it's good enough for me. Just need to add a girlfriend to the collection in there.

let's not forget the anime coming in 2020. I was already hyped for the anime but when I saw our two MC's voice actresses I was as giddy as can be so now I'm super hyped.

I have not looked at any of the information on the anime or seiyuu really... it still feels really weird to me that I'm volunteering a little help to fan-release a yuri that has both a light novel and manga(s) and now suddenly has a license for the light novel release coming next year PLUS an anime. It's very "wow" to me and that wow factor is making me keep myself in suspense. I think the last time I felt so strange was when Cartoon Network picked up the English dub of Inuyasha while I was still actively helping release the fansub every week. (Yes yes I know I just totally dated myself there.)

We're still gonna keep releasing the new ("Moke") version as it's released as well as the LN so not all is lost!

That said, I still prefer this softer art style, so I will miss it.
