Just submitted version 2 of both chapter 7 and 8, fixing all the issues (that I know of). :p

A really minor point, on page 16 when Hana says "pouch," this usage actually means "handbag." (See chapter 1 page 6.) But this is up to the translator I suppose, since English speakers do occasionally use the word pouch to mean handbag, just not very often.

The existance of the English word "handbag" simply slipped my mind. :p

It's a lot less angsty than Girlfriends. I doubt it'll be as long.

And males are conspicuously absent from the setting, so no rivals in sight.

Without mentioning any spoilers, I can say that at the end of volume 2 (i.e. ch12) there is no end in sight yet.

One of the greatest parts of releasing a new chapter, is seeing all the speculation about what's gonna happen next. It's soooo tempting to hint some spoilers. x)

would there be a version 2 for ch 7 to fix some of the errors?

I suppose I could get on that.

The images are fairly large, and have a larger filesize than usual (the first page is 6mb). It might be tough to view them on a slower connection.

We'll translate the rest, if we can get a hold of the magazines they're serialized in. Worst case, we'll just have to wait for vol.3 to be released (in Japan).

I finished Sakura Dungeon the other day. I kind of liked it. The gameplay is extrememy monotonous, but I can deal with that. I'm a completionist, and I like exploring.

As for the yuri part, well, it's overflowing with it. Everyone's promiscuous as fuuuuck though, so if you dislike that, you may want to stay away (especially from the 18+ patch).

This is why we can't have nice things indeed...

It actually depends a lot. It's very common with names in both katakana and hiragana, sometimes in combination with a kanji. E.g. a name like Hanako can be written as はな子.

On another note - to the translators or anyone who's seem the raws, what do Hana and Hinata's names mean (the Kanji) ? I guess Hana uses the flower Kanji? Authors often like to use related names for couples so I was curious.

As you suspected, Hana indeed uses 花 (flower). Hinako just uses katakana, but "hina" means "chick", and "-ko" is the usual feminine name ending you see everywhere. So, there isn't really any relation/similarities in this case, though I agree that is often the case.
