^I choose to think it's wholesome haha

Also the collection it's from in the source link is various different couples, and they're all wholesome.

^Actual Universe? ;)

(I know what AU stands for, but I'd like to imagine something like is the real canon, instead of what we got)

^It's honestly hilarious how Gura's height is so all over the place in fan-art.

Also I see we got Okayu and Korone being a couple, Kiara and Calli, and in theory you could get Ina x Ame x Gura out of this as well. Lots of love going around, and that's what I love to see.

Mordred about to get sibling. Question is who would be the "dad" here? There's a time Scath told Gudako giving a woman a dick with rune magic is possible, during a Summer event. It spawned some fun doujins. So it could in theory go either way, or maybe they both end up pregnant, imagine Mordred's confusion then haha

Edit: Notably just joking around about some of the canon and the ideas within.

Akie still needs to learn what's the right mood for a kiss, but besides that she got the dating aspect perfectly, that was a successful date.

Really curious how the "battles" work.

Gonna be shonen AF. Power levels, burning passion, commentators describing their moves, the works.

Lesbian sex shonen edition?

I did actually see a Futa battle tournament doujin that was over 100 pages recently...it was pretty wild heh

Texas waking up to some early morning spooning. Also I wonder if those are wedding rings on the nightstand next to Texas?

Kiara about to be next on the menu, with how Calli is looking like she wants some "chicken wings" with her alcohol.

Both of them are mentally ill.

yeah jesus, handholding on the first date what the fuck?

right? need to wear gloves at the very least

Hand STDs are a real problem.

Also on a serious note, they're not mentally ill. There's nothing out of the norm with Sanae, and Rena mentally tunes out at her crappy costumer service job in order to get by and pay the bills. Honestly people throw around "mental illness" too much online, and it detracts from taking mental illness seriously, especially when it's used in a manner that sounds insulting. I wish the mods wouldn't allow it.

In all fairness I think it's evident by now that Yukiko is not one for sound life decisions...

I think that's characters in general when it comes to authors like this that go for full on messy drama haha

“Not a yuri guy” yeah sure whatever you gotta tell yourself

Lmao right? I was also going to comment on this. I just imagine them going "It's not like I love Yuri or anything..BAKA!!!"

Why didn't Yukiko just tell Fuuko that Konomi is a sucubus?

I wonder

"The person that turned my life upside down MIGHT hate it if I reveal her secret, so I'm just going to lie to the person I care the most about instead"

It's basically the author buying time via adding another layer of drama, especially since we know the secret will very likely come out eventually anyways.

Their lack of ability to use words feels...excessive. I know finding the words can be hard, especially when nervous but just saying, "I told your secret because I selfishly wanted you to myself", would at least be honest.

Edit: Also yeah the color page is really nice.

i mean you don't use the same tie everyday normally, isn't it okay if she has 2 of them? just give her the fucking gift

I suspect it's more a matter of timing. Giving her a hairband right after she just bought one, with another friends encouragement, feels less special then giving her one while she's hesitating over which one to get. She's also probably worried about looking like she just copied Hana.

Now, realistically, Hime probably wouldn't view it that way and would probably appreciate the gesture for what it is, but teenagers and unfounded insecurities might as well be synonyms.

We are also talking about teenage girls. Getting insecure or hurt over minor things is sadly almost unavoidable at that age

Well and let's be honest, adults can be pretty insecure and easily hurt over minor things as well haha

We humans are an emotional mess of a species :P

This continues to be the weirdest premise for a yuri manga ever. "I'm married to you, but no homo". What's even the point?

Surely the point is to erase the no. Not the first time we've seen this, either.

That's exactly the point. Also it's not that weird to me, I've heard a decent amount of people purpose the idea of a platonic marriage to a friend. Just because it sounds fun, or they don't want to die alone, various other reasons along those lines.

I think a lot of us saw it coming, but even still I think this was a super cute ending. A short and sweet series, ultimately to the point and simply adorable. I'm very happy with this! :)

My thanks to the author and the translation team!

It's great that they're moving things forward and progressing the characters through the drama, but I still think Kurokawa's personality really sucks. Her inferiority complex and wanting to admire her "idol" from afar made her emotionally destroy a close friend, one that truly loves her. Her choice of words were very cruel.

I don't get it. Everybody seems to be pointing fingers here. It's Sera's fault! No it's Ruriko's fault! It's nobodies fault. Ruriko had stomach pain, and said she thought it was her period. Sera gave her medicine, and told her if it's starts hurting more let her know. Ruriko then went to work and felt better, but then took a dramatic turn for the worse afterwards. It looks like she collapsed. It's hard to get a hold of anybody after you collapse.

I'm a little disappointed that Sera's big investment in the the relationship is that, it just makes her life easier. However Kasumi, from Room for Two, acts the same way, and I've been told, very angerily by the fans on the series message board, that she and Sakurako are a happy couple and never question their relationship status again. So what do I know.

Eh I think in this one they genuinely care about each other in their own ways, and they're slowly growing closer over the course of it. However many people seem to think otherwise, and honestly I'm not going to debate it. I have my perspective and other people have their perspectives.

^ I think I should have put a line break or two in my original post... The church thing is just a pet peeve of mine that I already discussed elsewhere, while the manga went off the deep end the moment it had spent an entire chapter on the villain monologuing at the hero about how society has made them evil.

Because, what was the point of chapter 13, why was it in this story? First, we learn that the Princess is some kind of magical hacker who can trace magical cellphone jamming (which exists, just so) without any foreshadowing that she had ever specced into that build. So this half of the chapter introduces a new problem (jamming) in addition to the one already introduced last chapter (dragon), then immediately pull a solution for it of nowhere without any progress made on the dragon issue, then caps it off with a cool action scene. That's amateur fanfic-level writing, at best, and lazy delaying tactic, at worst.

Second, the Little Sister Archetype (LSA) calls the Heroine and tells her that her Respected Mentor Figure (RMF) who has so far given her zero reasons to doubt her trustworthiness is Actually Evil(tm). She offers zero proof or evidence, but that's OK, because the RMF takes one single look at the Heroine's face, immediately figures out what the LSA told her, and instead of making any attempt to salvage the situation or at least to stall her until the Earth Girl (EG) gets blanched, immediately goes "Muahahahaha, I am Actually Evil(tm)!". She then attacks the Heroine without provocation, reveals an incriminating location she was not supposed to know existed, confesses to every accusation, and then starts whining about how hard it is to have responsibilities in addition to all the perks and privileges of high status in the society. She then also tells the Heroine of her Special Destiny(tm) and, oh, just by the way, I killed your entire village, too, no hard feelings.

Now, just what is the Evil Old Lady's goal and motivation here? If she just wants the "blanching" ritual to succeed, why did she blow up a hole in the floor in the immediate vicinity. instead of using her official and personal pull with the Heroine to stall her? If she wants to gain the Heroine's sympathy with her sob story, then why confess to indirectly killing her parents and mock her for "not having a self" immediately thereafter? If she wants the Heroine to keep working for her out of her free will, why provoke and antagonize her? If she wants to brainwash her, why give the long-winded speech instead of just sucker-punching her while she's still confused? None of this makes the Evil Old Lady look like a competent and intelligent mastermind she supposedly is -- more like a entitled teenager throwing a tantrum.

A story is only as intelligent as its dumbest main villain, and this story's IQ has just dropped faster than Bitcoin after an Elon Musk tweet.

Well it's unfortunate that you dislike the series so much. Personally I'm still having fun with it. Your critiques are valid, but I was never taking this manga super seriously to begin with, so there was never a "off the deep end" point for me. I think it's just a fun little isekai adventure. That's all I can really say.
