As a person of Welsh ancestry, I have to wonder about this. Do you mean that the Oni dialect is influenced by Welsh slang, or it was by actual Welsh language?

Because the Welsh accent is (at least in my opinion) quite sing-song and lyrical. To me, it sound more like a Cornish Summerset accent.

I really liked the character design of Saejima in the series, and wanted to see more of her. I love bad-ass women, and a woman with an eye-patch is one of my kinks, so she really appeals to me. Plus, I'd like to think that this is how things are with these two- after their appearance in the first episode-and this totally my head-cannon.

I just used the word "boyfriend" for lack of a better term, and since Ai is closer to the stereotypical male archetype in their relationship. But that being said, I wasn't trying to devalue her gender. While I wasn't being totally serious in my remarks, as a man myself, I've known some pretty clueless insensitive guys.

That said, I agree with your sentiments about the whole "if only you were a boy" cliche. One of the things that makes Chie and Ai so adorable is the circumstances of how they met and the way they grew close.

My favorite couple is Ai/Chie, but these two are a close second for me. Especially ever since Kouhai's confidence got a big boost a little while back, because she's just gotten cuter and cuter.
