Regarding the chap, I'm torn between thinking of Haine as a realistic 13/14-year-old teenager or a self-entitled brat. >.> I guess both aren't mutually exclusive. There's a slightly ironic parallel with Yurine though: Yurine has trouble bonding with people because of a lack of passion, while Haine almost jeopardized her most important bond because of an excess of passion.

My sister, who is a very passionate person, has acted towards my parents exactly how Haine acted towards Aika here. Don't know what to make of that.

This story is all over the place. The author had a good setup to start with and she destroyed it completely with what felt like a rushed ending. She sums it up in the afterword : she just lost interest along the way.

I agree. While I was reading this I constantly felt like I could barely tell what was going on, or that I was missing something. Not because any of the events or plot points were hard to comprehend, but I just couldn't see through to the author's intention. Whatever mutual understanding the sister's had of their relationship with each other was unclear to me from beginning to end.

It's not really depressing though, in the end there was hope. Just imagine visits and talks once Tsubame has time to figure out why Saori's touches always upset her. It's clear that Saori is head over heels, Tsubame just has to grow up a little to understand more. ^.^

These nice things have a certain way of not happening, unfortunately. Two people are sure they'll see each other again, but all it takes is for one party to fail to communicate a single time, for a relationship to evaporate.
