i know it's so cliche, that those ripped pages in the diary probably held Himeko's true feelings of love, and that there's a high chance of a bad end like the original, but I can't help but be engaged and enjoy the same rollercoaster ride. There's just something that keeps me coming back.

I did enjoy the twist of Himeko being the sneaky one this time. I don't think her character has ever been portrayed this way before. I'm still having fun and looking forward to see if the author will follow the end of the original or let them live happily together somehow haha. Maybe the twist ending this time will be with a double death xD

Is it just me or is the translation this chapter a little hard to follow? Like she asks is this why you been treating me so well cuz I have a pretty face? And then she answers that probably would have been better. Meaning if it was just about her pretty face that would be a better reason if that was the reason she was treating her so well? Well then what is the reason she's treating her so well?

Yeah thats what I got from it. The reason why she treats her so well is simply because MC is a pushover and easily taken advantage of. The mangaka points out that her "bighearted stats is maxed out" and that she takes on other people's work before being asked. So MC prob just wishes she wasn't so giving and nice since it's gotten her into a lot of trouble (like this landlord situation).

Ugh if this was gonna be the sole chapter for a while I wished it ended with a clearer ending for a chapter. It kinda just cut off....but I am interested and I hope the author will create more in the future.

Oh I also just realized after seeing her backstory that maybe Satou's sister was from the same foster home or something since they're not related by blood

The vibe on this was kinda weird to me. I think it's that part when she confronts suzu and points out all the inaccuracies. The way it came across was kinda patronizing and if it were me I'd be so embarrassed and think it was a giant joke. I know it's not the authors intention, but somehow the way it was presented made me feel like that.
