agreed, and especially now Chihiro's threat, if Nao actually does back off, then we should see more panels where Aoi feels more tightness in her chest, or scenes where she expects a kiss from Nao that never happens.

well, Mikage-chan definitely has issues. I half feel like she doesn't value herself (re: comment about father using her as a replacement for the mother and how she is willing to let Takayanagi "use" her).

that said, at least this 3-way love interest doesn't reek of "Happy End," and it will be good for both sisters because it forces each to sort out their "real" feelings for one another.

for example, I'm not so sure Mikage loves her sister in a romantic way. maybe she does, maybe she doesn't. I think that because of their family dynamics, her view of what is/is not love is warped. however, this is my opinion and I am always of the mind "wait and see." now, it was interesting what Mikage said after Takayanagi cried. was that a "real" feeling/sentiment, or was it a "I need to make others happy" feeling/sentiment? again, we will need to wait and see how Mikage handles this situation.

with respect to Tomoe, she is in the same situation as her sister, and pretty much expresses the fact that she doesn't know what love is. when Kujou-san subtly confesses to her, I think this 'shock' will be good for her. will the confession be a like or a dislike?

so as another poster said, things are certainly getting more interesting.

on another unrelated note, every time we get a new chapter on DR, i cry a little because this hasn't been picked up by anybody in the states, if seven seas or even VIZ picked up this manga, that would be great, but for now, i cn only blame shueisha.

If seven seas picked it up, I'm not sure they could sell in the states. if they did, they'd have to sanitize the shit out of it to get it past many censors or paste a big fat 'ole NC17/17+ label on the cover. for example, Barnes and Noble "might" sell it, but like the last time I saw a series that was 17+ offered by B&N, it was promptly removed (damn, I cannot remember the title). Also, if 7seas had to tone down Virgin's Empire so it could sell in the states, I think all of VE's charm (due to the ecchi-ness) would be lost.

Aoi is somewhere is a grey area. She likes or thinks she likes Chihiro, but it appears her feelings are slowly moving towards Nao as noted when she, Aoi, questions the feeling in her chest (http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/chouchou_nannan_ch03#20).

As to Shino, I still think she and Chihiro will end up together. Unfortunately, I'd liken Shino to that of the consolation prize.

OK, so if Chihiro is yandere, how would this play out? Would she 1.) start doing little things to keep Aoi and Nao from getting closer? or 2.) do little things that keep Aoi off-balance such that Aoi continues to think she is in "like" with Chihiro? A yes to the first option supports the yandere hypothosis and implies that something bad could happen in upcoming chapters. A yes to the second option does not dismiss a yandere hypothosis, but could imply Chihiro is the jealous type and may want to keep her harem of admirers intact, so Nao "better not 'f' with her shit." I don't completely buy option #2, as that might cause Chihiro to alienate Shino. and if Chihiro were the type to want a bevy of admirers, then alienating Shino would be the last thing she would want to happen.

Now, let me offer this small monkey wrench into the whole love polygon thingie: Chihiro likes Aoi, and is the yandere type. Aoi likes Chihiro, but is slowly being wooed away by Nao's kisses. Nao likes Aoi. Finally, Shino actually likes Nao, but is mre the dandere type and has not made any effort to show it. Oy, how would that work out? (umm, OK,I'm not sure I completely believe this statement myself. I'm just throwing it out into the realm of possibilities)

ya know, I'm all for surprise endings, but if your series has it's MC's veering left for the complete series then you cut away 5-10 years later and the MC's are now on the right, could you please give more details on how they ended up in that situation?

well, those bastards over at manga updates show her as having 2 other yuri-related works. One in particular is Green. I see links to raws, but I've not seen a translated version anywhere. hope that helps.

I was reading one of the threads, and was shocked when someone mentioned their child. so I was curious if those of us who have significant others and/or children have ever had "the talk" regarding their hobby (reading manga or other) or did they treat it like a dirty little secret? And for those of us who do not have significant others, would that be a deal breaker for dating/marriage?

for example, I know when I first met my girlfriend, she didn't look down on it per se, but I'm sure I did not win any brownie points with her either. to her, it was one of my odd hobbies which she didn't like in the beginning. eventually, she understood that it was just a part of me plus I went on a campaign to introduce her to all the "acceptable" manga/anime I thought she could tolerate and not think me an utter and total perv.

my original question bordered on rediculous, so lemme be specific. it'd be nice if "this" FAQ were more boilerplate and not mixed up with user request. for example, it might be nice if it were on the main menu or as a sub menu item in the user dropdown.

OP: didn't know the 1st post was the FAQ, so thanks for making that clear (and yeah, I'll owe up to the fact that I was damn lazy on that one). however, the fact that it, the FAQ, is mixed in with the suggestions can get hairy. unless the FAQ is kept up-to-date, a user would have to scan though pages of comments just to find an answer to a question and that's assuming a user was constantly reading this suggestions/FAQ thread to know that the question or for that matter answer had been raised. so I'll amend my question. is it possible to have the FAQ and the suggestions/questions thread split into two? that way FAQs are FAQs and suggestions/questions not answered by the FAQs have their own space?
