I wonder why, in the manga, in the episode where Elsa is possessed by a mare and almost jumps off a roof, they changed the orders of the Villainess system.

This is because the beginning chapters of the manhua used an old version of the WN, where there were two villainess system options, but most importantly not a third zero-point option. In the updated, most current version of the WN, it was changed to what it is now.

Oh I get it now. So in the new version the VS has basically stopped working right and tried to force the death of Elsa with no way out... Interesting. I wonder if it's going to be a plot point later.

In the novel, it's plain and clear that the system is malfunctioning. Heck, Yvonne says it out loud, just in case we the readers didn't get it! In the manga, it would seem they are trying to hide it.

This was the yuriest chapter so far.

In a manga like this one, where romantic moments tend to be quiet low-key little things, a chapter like this one is like a heavy cannonade.

Her awareness of and interest in Dai is not well hidden from the reader. It's all over the place. She wants to sit with her, she wants her to come looking for her, she keeps finding ways to help her out, she wants to get invited to the hot springs with her....The writing is on the wall. Your inability to read it is your problem.

Edit: Oh, but I will make a bold, crazy prediction now: Zhang is definitely, 100% gay. She is into Dai Yi.

In my case, I have no questions about whether Zhang Guo is gay (since it never crossed my mind to doubt Dai Yi's gaydar) but I do wonder when and why did she start crushing on Dai Yi.

I remember that at first she didn't seem to be into Dai Yi at all, but then she suddenly started acting like she's romantically interested in her and I can't recall how the transition worked at all.

Maybe I should reread from the beginning...

It's a little confusing since it just skips over the MC confessing and somehow assuming she got rejected, plus it ends with a new character being introduced in the last page with no prior context. I'm still liking what I see so far, but this feels more like a chapter 2 or 3 rather than a chapter 1.

Oh, I kind of didn't know how to mention it, but, there actually was a one-shot released before with the same characters before, so maybe that explains the quick introduction into action?! I don't think it's been translated though.

Ah I see... And here I was thinking that the author had made such a novel and exciting choice by skipping completely the "clumsy confession + botched reaction + misunderstanding + angst + depression" arc and jumping directly to the "clarifying their mutual feelings" part. Turns out that she had dealt with all that other stuff in a previous oneshot, lol.
