I kind of assumed that Natalia would have to pull the sword out of Sara's chest, Utena style, but that really could be wrong. Something like Sara wielding the sword and Natalia supplying her with wind magic, or something similarly cooperative, could be fun as well.

Finally, in chapter 11, they had serious cheating action. I could have glossed over the details of that part of the story, but I knew I couldn't escape from the explicit representation of "she cheated on her", so I drew it clearly,

Really hoping, if by some chance, this gets picked up as anime. Usually it would be some sort out there request, but with the state of Yuri being consistently picked one by one recently, I have hopes this one will too. It’s relatively popular, plus the bittersweetness of it all will provide a good enough draw for people to take with it. I just truly want another way we can immortalize Kaori, not just in the novel Shizuku is writing, or in this manga, but also her voice in an anime. I feel like even as a fictional character, Kaori is one of those special ones you don’t want to forget.

The only issue I see with that is that six volumes is just a bit too long to adapt in one cour, but they could do it if they condensed things here and there.

I would not be holding my breath, honestly. The last anime TV series that adapted an "officially" Yuri manga that did not reach a minimum length of 8 volumes before or after the anime, was Riddle Story of the Devil in 2014. Also worth noting that in that case the anime already premiered less than a month after vol. 2 of the manga, so the anime entered production really fast. We're five volumes into this one, ending with the sixth, and there's no word about an anime...

I thought it made sense not to bring up that the sword was a fake because Princess Natalia would be unlikely believe it. Sister Sara has no proof as far as we know, so I think she might also be trying to earn the trust of Natalia so that she will be more likely to consider trying to pull the sword out of Sara. The fake sword being broken also might help convince her to try. I would say the Great Sylph could also vouch for Sara, but these types of ancient spirits don't tend to be forthcoming

Midori knows these things take courage so she made a public display of courage to inspire Kyouko.

And how does Kyouko react? She barely manages to ask Midori her contacts!! Rejoice? Pshaw. Talk about a letdown. :(

I think people in general prefer to confess in private, instead of in front of an audience. Kyouko also mentioned it earlier that she would prefer to meet with Midori off the clock. I believe she will confess properly when they're alone.

There is a difference between reposting the same artwork on Twitter or other social media, and what Dynasty is for. This is more like archival of the work than a reproduction, although it is still not something every artist would approve.

The earlier comment about the national age is misleading though as that is not the age nearly any prefecture uses. It's mostly 16 or 18 throughout Japan, through other laws. They don't view things much different than we do.

I did say they bump up the age in many prefectures to at least 16.

The age of consent is only 13 in the national penal code, and both the national and prefectural laws restrict sexual activity under the age of 18 in some form. The national Child Welfare Act of 1947 bans coercive acts and prostitution under 18. The prefectural and local laws do set the age of consent higher than 13, but they come with some caveats. Such as "indecency", meaning the older party intended to exploit the teenager, or there was coercion involved. Intent is of course more difficult to prove than the age of the participants. The punishment for breaking these laws also tend to be too lax.

I'm very happy to see the update. I have mixed feelings about the quick escalation in chapter 12, but given the title I shouldn't be that surprised. I'm sure there are still a lot of challenges for these two in the future, so I'm not worried about the premise growing stale.
