Can't believe i used to like this.

Why feel the need to post in here if you no longer care about this?

Damn, I really want Tsukasa x Washio together...

Finally, another like-minded person in this thread.

I agree with Ropponmatsu here. Sure, realistic stories with fleshed out characters and environments are always great things to read about, but reading one-dimensional stuff is great once in a while as well. If you start this series with the hopes of finding something profound and realistic, then its your own fault for being dissapointed if it doesn't have that since the basic premise of this is "Cute stuff happens between cute girls who have a part time job at a shop that sells cute shit."

I wouldn't call this akin to fast food either, to me its more akin to an extremely sweet cupcake. It lacks any nutrients and eating it would only make you feel fat afterwards, but you still find some enjoyment out of the whole thing and leaves you looking forward the next time you would eat another one, which is something i can't say about fast food.

I feel like this series is going to end with all three of them just being friends and I don't know if I want that...

I can't see many people liking that. I mean, so far the struggles of the characters have felt real and to push the bullshit "Friendship its the best thing ever" ending would feel like the feelings they felt were nothing but misinterpretations of strong feelings of friendship.

I think this would end with one person sacrificing their own feelings for the sake of the one that person loves. When theres a love triangle, theres always a person that ends up with their feelings hurt and even though that sounds like a sad ending, it feels like a more appropriate ending for a series like this. At least, thats what i think so.

@Seira I don't dislike her either, i just feel like she does these little things that would supposedly keep them stay together, but its doing quite the opposite sometimes. Like pushing Tsukasa too hard to date glasses kid, how in the actual hell would a boyfriend keep her friends together since one of them would be spending less time with the other two?

Things like that reasoning annoy the hell out of me. Of course, she has her reasons for acting like that, but i wished she just toned down on the stupidity from time to time. I do wish everyone in that group to get a happy ending too, but i feel that one of them won't have one.

Hey, nice Yuzuriha profile picture. ;) I haven't gotten around to playing Aki-hen yet (too lazy, but I know how it ends at least since I shamelessly skipped to the end, LOL). I'm still patiently waiting for Fuyu-hen to come out.

She's my favorite character in the whole Flowers series, so i'm kinda ecstatic to finally play as her in the third game. I haven't played it either lol, i just found a bunch of images of her from the third one in some forum and couldn't help but to use one as my profile pic. I have only played the first 2 and i was barely able to play the second one with the help of a friend since my japanese sucks ass at the moment lol.

Anyway...

I was going to make this brief, but I ended up writing the summary of the whole chapter (minus the last couple pages).

  • Chapter 19 summary

Damn, thanks a lot for going into such detail, i feel like i already read the chapter by just reading your summary. I really appreciate it.

Anyways, it seems that my suspitions were true. Kotooka goes back to her awful self in future chapters, which is a shame since i was warming up to her right now. It's also a shame that in 19 chapters, there hasn't been any kind of tease of what the end game is going to be.

BTW, Is it true that she tells glasses kid that Tsukasa already has someone she likes? If so, why the hell does she does it? Was she getting jealous of him? Was she inadvertently helping her out with Washio? Why am i asking so many questions?

No, in the later chapters (the raws),it was shown that the takoyaki kid was a real guy lol, and he was the one who made Nadeshiko wears pigtails now.

Thats lame, why the hell hint at Tsukasa's tomboyish looks as a kid and awful food apparel if it leads to absolutely nothing?

It's about a pair of identical twins, and one day when the main character (one of the twins) is filling in for her twin at her part time job, a senpai confesses to her. Love dodecahedron ensues. It might not sound very exciting, but I personally found it extremely enjoyable.

It does sound extremely enjoyable. There's not enough twin hijinks in yuri manga, in fact, i can hardly recall a single series where the twins are not in love with each other, so i'm actually excited to see it.

@Yuri and Kayo Edit: and h3x .__.
We'll add them later. I was working on translating other stuff. x)
(It's mostly just Morinaga gushing about schoolgirls though...)

Classic Morinaga.

After reading chapter 19...

Oh god, is it starting? Is the triangle crumbling now that Kotooka has finally snapped?! I haven't read the other chapters, but I feel like Nadeshiko is well aware of where Kotooka's feelings lie. After this chapter, I think with all of the alone time Tsukasa has to spend, she might figure out that Kotooka knows about everyone else's secrets OR Tsukasa's going to end up realizing that Kotooka actually likes her.

You can read japanese? Thats cool.

I saw images of chapter 19 and damn, it looks like things took a turn for the worst in the future. I tried to avoid /u/'s spoiler filled thread, but i couldn't help it since i saw that slap and got curious as to why she slapped Washio. It seems that a girl from another trio of friends is trying to get with one of Kotooka's exes so they go and ask her for his number or something, but she snaps at them since she was feeling jealous of the trio of girls who supported each other for the sake of their friend happiness. Washio told her that she went too far and somehow that granted a slap from Kotooka? I was very confused by that part, so i would like to know what exactly went down if you read it too

It also seems that Washio is now aware that she has been rejected by Kotooka, but refuses to let go of her feelings for her. Kotooka on the other hand, refuses to give into her feelings for Tsukasa, but she does things that contradict that, like when she tells the glasses kid that Tsukasa is already in love with someone else and basically tells glasses kid to back off of her

I still stand by my theory, that by the end of the series, Kotooka is going to be the one that gets Tsukasa and Washio together and all of the actions in future chapters have done nothing but convince me that this is where the story its going.

Unfortunately, yes. It got cancelled because of lack of popularity. Hopefully Morinaga got enough of a heads-up that she still managed to properly wrap up the story. :/

Lets hope so, i really like this series a lot since its a lot of fluff with little to no actual drama, but i could see why this isn't popular in Japan. And just like cyricc say, this could be a good thing too since Hana is your typical thickheaded girl who doesn't notice someone else's feeling until its too late and we're spared from that if Morinaga doesn't rush things.

BTW, if you don't mind me asking, whats Futakaku Kankei or Soukaku Kankei all about?

The quickest way to sum it all up is a completely one-sided match where one person got dunked on by everyone else. I would feel sorry if not for the fact that they were the one who escalated it + it was too hard to resist not to comment since it was, as I said, a pretty ridiculous statement to begin with. Anyway, I'm glad it was over.

Sounds like that person got angry over nothing then. I'll check it out sometime just for sheer amusement.

Reading one of Morinaga Milk's works again with that discussion from her thread still sort of fresh in my mind made me realize how hilariously ridiculous that discussion was to begin with.

What was that all about anyways? I saw the thread being bumped again, but when i clicked to see what it was, i just saw a bunch of people calling names to each other and what not, so i just nope out of there.

So, we got more hints at how this is going to unfold eventually. Kotooka is going to be the one that gets Washio and Tsukasa together in the end by rejecting Washio and telling her how Tsukasa always felt about her.

I'm really warming up to Kotooka's character after that awful 1st impression she gave to me, so i really hope that when she said "Or am i going to do the same thing over again?" she isn't planning in becoming that awful character from the beginning again.

That was a pretty sweet chapter. Loved how Mei brushes Yuzu's worries as nothing since she already knew it wasn't going to be an easy relationship at all, but as long as both of them continue to be themselves, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It also seems that Mei is beginning to lose that facade of the emotionless girl without realizing it herself.

I haven't liked a Citrus chapter this much since the Mei's father arc.

please explain to me how 164cm is tall!!!! I'm 164cm, I'm far from tall! wth!! You could say that maybe Japanese people are shorter but I've been to Japan and not a lot of people were that short, also some really tall people... soo? Besides they told me they thought I was kinda small so I don't understand this in manga why is 164cm tall? -.- Maybe this manga is old and people in Japan started getting taller the recent years? '-' >.> no idea

The manga its from 2012, so not that old. Maybe the author thinks that 164cm is tall for a high school girl in Japan, which is something i wouldn't disagree with.

So, we could assume Shou is still seing Chiharu and that the phone was to call her everytime they couldn't see each other, right?

thats what im assuming is happening. she wants the phone to talk to chiharu and they still get together whenever they can as evidenced by people noticing the "creepy pale girl" that hangs around their house at night and shou being out and about during that same time period.

and thats without including that whole "you've got long hair again" bit at the very end.

Phew! Well, at least that ending was much more uplifting than the last one. I mean, i would've loved to see Shou and Chiharu together again, but seeing Shou's changes from the sister perspective was a nice way of ending the series too.

haha yeah, guess I'm not on the same page then, it would have to be good for me to like it, either way. Even het harem can have good drama, romance and comedy, but I can get that it's hard for poeple to watch that if they have some personal issues. If I was gonna like this only for the yuri, the yuri would have to be better, to me it seems like the series only barely qualifies as yuri.

I loathe het harems, mainly because at least in 90% of them, all of the female characters do everything for the sake of the male character that they feel that they wouldn't exist if it wasn't for that guy's presence. The only one i could stomach is Monster Musume and thats because it feels like a parody more than an actual harem.

There was a good yuri harem series I saw on here, some girl who get's continuously kidnapped by deities, I recommend that one. Yurika's Compus life maybe, it's pretty funny, but it's also pretty much hentai, recommend that one if you like Golden Boy maybe.

Do you mind linking me to the one about a girl having a harem with deities? Sounds really interesting.

But which is worse, this one or Love Hina?

Love Hina. But i might be a little biased.

Wait, is this actually the end of this? Damn, i was really hoping that the MC would change more by the end of it, but i guess its great to see that she at least changed a bit. Even though this was a nice chapter, i really hope the epilogue gives us a more satisfying ending than that. I feel that this series deserves more than just an open end.

Thanks a lot. I guess i don't them since i haven't read any of the series they've scanlated. This being one of them since i'm afraid i'll get hooked on the story and won't be able to read more past chapter 3. Hope you guys get the chance to update this one whenever you feel like it.

We might be interested, though I can't promise anything because we have a lot of other projects piled up. I have proposed this to my group today.
If any other group is interested, it would be nice to post a comment here or tell us so we won't work at the same time on it.

I'm sorry if this sounds rude, but i'm not familiar with your group. Who is your group?

I think one of the biggest issues some people had with Citrus, was their constant teasing. The "Would they, should they" crap they were doing on every chapter was getting annoying.

Yea, at some point you have to go "Drek or get off the pot". Drama, angst and so forth is fine but sheesh. There is only so long you can drag it out before it becomes Depressing as Fuck instead. Of course, I'm a sucker for a happy ending so that may taint my views somewhat....~_^

Nah, i think a lot of people like happy endings after some drama and angst. I certainly do. Citrus seems to be heading into that direction, but i hope Saburouta gets there with only the necessary amount of stupid drama.

It was pretty clear early on though that she knew more than she was letting on. A few other clever folks saw it. Hats off to you guys!

It's easy to change your mind once you see her side of the story, but all I'm saying was that there was clearly more from the beginning and that she wasn't being annoying for no reason. I didn't find her annoying because of that. But I guess if you didn't see it, you didnt see it.

Just give the story some time and give my girl Kotooka the chance she deserves!

It was clear that she had some sort of cliched reason as to why she acted the way she did. Nothing clever about noticing it since its the way the story was laid out. I thought that her reason was the typical "Girls can't be together due to this girl saying it to me in the past" and that was about it. While that still might be the case, i never thought that she was aware of both of her friends feelings, thats the part that made me don't dislike her anymore since she's the one thats suffering the most.

Still, knowing her reason doesn't change the fact that she was pretty annoying during the first 5 chapters. Forcing her friend into dating a guy she didn't like or even knew and then getting way too nosy during her date. I get why she acted like that, but that doesn't mean it was the right thing to do or that it wasn't annoying.

So I WANT this to have a triad ending but I'm expecting an inconclusive non-end where the status quo reigns.

I think it would end the same way the trio from Kindred Spirits ended, with Tsukasa and Washio together and Kotooka as the person who help them be together. It's way too obvious that its going that route tbh. The hints about Washio's first love wearing a lame takoyaki shirt, hints about Tsukasa looking like a little boy in her younger days and her taste for food in her apparel and the part about Kotooka being the only one who understand the feelings of both of her friends.
