There was a really interesting comment on the app (by jakan1234 if you're interested) in regards to ep.39. This person thinks that, based on SeolA's comment ("younger sister," my ass) and her troubled attitude, SeolA has had feelings for girls previously (probs in high school cuz flashbacks). She probably met a lot of guys in hopes of changing her prospects, but she was never really into any of them. While she was getting fed up with the endless dating chain, she met NoRae, who sparked those (gay) feelings of love she had when she was younger (which explains all the references to that random girl). And yeah, the commenter also thinks we'll be in for a long ride since they both assume that the other is hetero, and thus, try to hide their (gay) feelings.

I agree that Seola seems gay while Norae is bi. However, I dont think Seola had had any conscious feelings for girls before, hence the last scene in Chapter 18 where she watched Norae sleeping and wondered what those feelings were

This. It doesn't make sense that Seol-a has been aware of her gayness since teen age to such degree that she tried to go in denial and go out with guys yet totally ignore No-rae's appearance in her life. I believe she's the type to get self-conscious easily - look how she started to behave now. I'd expect something similar to happen much earlier in the series had she been in love with a girl beforehand.

Cuz she is ssssssmart. Gosh, I love Seol-a. I'm obsessed with Seol-a.

Could anyone pick up on how Seol-a was behaving?? No-rea was saying she was stiff and acting...different somehow. Of course, being a comic/manhwa/manga and all.. it was hard for me to tell. Can anyone point anything out that stands out?? I went through it several times but I couldn't find any cues...

You can tell she's stressed and wtfing almost the whole chapter. Not a single smile on her face. Facial expressions are sad or concerned. Sometimes gazing somewhere as if spacing out or avoiding direct eye contact.
And from the last scene, you can tell she's helluva conscious about herself in front of No-rae.

Realistically speaking, I'm not at all surprised if the entire next chapter is a flashback of Seol-a's thoughts throughout the day

I have many ideas but putting it to paper/text is something different altogether especially when one is developing a science fiction universe heavily inspired by Star Wars, Mass Effect, Babylon 5, and Warhammer 40k!

I don't think Seol-a is capable of what you just described. That's how I see No-rae, in fact. While Seol-a is, how should I put it, she's not hugging to comfort, she's hugging because she feels like hugging, because, e.g. someone in front of her is too adorable. I mean, I don't think she understands well the little nuances of personal physical comfort. Unless it's something too obvious. She's more straightforward and direct with her physical actions, being completely unconscious how, for example, forcing somebody to touch her face can be so, uhm, exciting.

Was No-Rae realizing her feelings really that shocking? It seemed pretty normal to me. Just a, "oh crap, I love her." A shock reveal would be something out of a shonen manga:

Seol-a is sitting on her sofa lookin good and feelin good, doin her nails while listening to some music when all of a sudden...!! No-rae explodes through the wall by the door to her apartment huffing and covered in sweat. Seol-a asks why she couldn't just use the door and No-rae yells backs, "BECAUSE BURSTING THROUGH THE WALL IS A MORE EPIC ENTRANCE!!!!!!" Seol-a just stares and asks what No-rae is really doing in her apartment. No-rae quickly straigtens up and yells, "ILOVEYOUPLEASEGOOUTWITHME!!!!!!" Then, whilst blushing like a maniac, she runs back out the hole in the wall before Seol-a could do or say anything.

HAHAHA!!! That was priceless!!!!! You should write more, RR!!!

To face death changes a lot in pple. I wonder if No-Rae realised that she didn't want to die like that, without having the time to be honest about her feelings toward Seol-A.

Nah, I don't think so. Chapter 37 is all about Seol-a having that feeling of "can't help but want her mine, no matter what". There's a reason why Shakespeare was quoted after all: it was the fated car accident that changed something between the two. Otherwise they would have never gotten closer.
Therefore, rather than No-rae's confession, I expect Seol-a to start noticing the first glimpses of her feelings, standing out too much for just a friendship. That gaze No-rae gave her and the following hug, they really made an impact on Seol-a. I bet a thought of wanting to kiss crossed her mind. So I expect Seol-a to reflect on her feelings and desires in ch.38.

I'm at a loss for words how great was the chapter! No-rae... that first panel with her scratched face... oh my... really...

In the last panels, the first hug makes Seol-a think to herself that No-rae needs to calm down. So she tells No-rae to look at her, just look at her. And when No-rae does, Seol-a says 'Hey, No-rae... Stop...', probably referring to 'don't cry'. And then come those eyes.. those eyes full of tears... Oh god, I wish I could hug No-rae myself with all my might at that moment...

The very last text, I wonder whose thoughts is it...tried to google translate it and got this "O fate, lend me thy strength. Anything we can barely look at myself"

If I got it right, "O fate, please, lend us your power! It seems there's no other way for us."
Seems to be a quote from somewhere...

And please, take this a with a HUGE PILE of salt, I really can't do much more than type in hangul and use a couple of online dictionaries

There's one thing I'm curious - why did No-rae decide to work all of a sudden and didn't tell anyone about it. Was it to avoid Seol-a or was it to get some money for xmas/ny? And another related question - who did she work as?

2) No-rae was in the bus at time of accident but is totally fine/mild scratch
3) No-rae seriously injured in the accident (coma/broken bone,,etc) and they took her to hospital

on a sidenote, I'd be totally in for a short zombie special whenever there's a need for a break.

Here's an update:
No-rae dies. Seol-a and Ji-hwan are crying rivers at the funeral, start hugging each other, and end up going out. But No-rae resurrects as a zombie and eats Ji-hwan's brains. In that very moment, Seol-a shoots a shotgun and kills No-rae the zombie, however the second bullet blows inside the rifle and kills Seol-a. Turns out, the powder in the bullets was poisoned and infected with a virus. So Seol-a actually resurrects as a zombie too. Happy zombie yuri end.

UPD:
Plot twist - Seol-a and No-rae are actually not zombies. The virus they caught was meticulously prepared by No-rae's older brother in glasses so that the girls would be able to connect to Flutterion Unit-01 (No-rae) and Unit-02 (Seol-a) respectively. Using these semi-machines, the girls fight Ji-hwan who turned out to be the so-called Fallen Angel and planned to destroy yuri on planet earth.
