Also, Shio's memories of her mother seem to indicate that the woman had completely lost it after running away from her husband. She was overly controlling, desperately trying to keep Shio from leaving their apartment. Perhaps this was out of fear of being discovered by her abusive husband, or maybe guilt over leaving Asahi behind. Whatever the reason, her own child lived in terror of her. It could be that Shio's fragmented memories selectively consist of all the bad things, but still, she definitely underwent some severe trauma at the hands of her mother.

When Shio first leaves the apartment, the mother memory's quite supportive. It's later on, after Mitsuboshi starts getting beat up that the demon shows herself, presumably because she actually was holding his hand at the time, whereas before she was looking for Satou.

Is it just me or did Eli use more Russian in this than in the entire series? I can't seem to remember her ever saying anything but "harasho".

Why is yuzumori the adult here?

Page 13 feels like it's exposing Yuzumori's childish side, in a way. That she seems more mature comes down to her having control of the situation while Mimika's dealing with the collapse of her house of cards. And then, just as Mimika's getting herself pulled back together, Yuzumori just so happens to hammer the nail down by asking if she's a real pedo.

I think Yuzumori's reaction might have something to do with a past incident. Something similar might have been said but she got betrayed in the end, hence the disgust/fear at Mimika's words.

I'd say it depends on the exact construction in Japanese. If it's along the lines of "I don't want to be friends and nothing more", a misunderstanding where she stopped listening after "friends" would be likely. There's one other possibility I can think of, but to best explain it, I need a timeline:

• All three go to a park
  
• Mimika leaves, Shiroi and Yuzumori "talk"
  
• Mimika returns, Shiori leaves
  
• Yuzumori confronts Mimika about the differences in how she treats her and Shiori
  
• Mimika asserts Yuzumori is special to her, despite Shiori's best friend status
  
• Yuzumori delivers her ultimatum and 'confesses'
• Mimika responds in kind, but then breaks down
  
• Mimika says she "can't just stay friends" while crying
  
• Yuzumori becomes angry then disgusted with Mimika

Following the events, I think it's possible that Yuzumori thinks Mimika's dumping her, possibly on the command of Shiori. Not helping is that "it's impossible for me to give up" doesn't necessarily flow from "I like you" and could be interpreted as referring to her relationship with Shiori - ie, she's not able to let go of her current girlfriend and has effectively rendered Yuzumori the other woman, with a tenuous, rather than committed, relationship. If her father cheated on her mother(or vice versa), her chances of interpreting things in terms of infidelity would skyrocket.

There was at least one video where Nico had twintails in the "story" portion, but her usual pigtails in the dancing segments. It was really weird.

At some point, they also issued prize figures of the two in wedding dresses. Tsukasa and Miyuki had figures issued as well, but they didn't go together that way. If you look at the midleft panel on page 24, Nitori has a tear in her eye. She forgot about the ropeway to make something that reminded her of Chewbacca.

I wasn't really expecting the random interstitials to actually tie into the plot, but the way they're weaved in is great. It tells you a lot while saying little.

Let me throw in another voice for ditching the dual-tagging. This isn't a low-grade spinoff starring the same characters(eg, Girls und Panzer Little Army), but a series in its own right, despite being set in the same universe and having a similar premise(eg, so many American sitcoms).

Not sure what "D" means, but I don't think there's a meaning deeper than a countdown to Eli showing up.

The bit about not actually going back in time makes sense in a way: why can't she just be resetting the world? It'd explain why each go around seems to be overly different from the last: she's only resetting things enough to redo her meeting with Madoka, leaving a huge number of variables unchanged.

I'm surprised it took this long for the yuri to show. It wouldn't be out of the blue for them to just start making out after a match.

That tirade about how she was important to Mimika would probably make Shi-chan unlikeable to anyone, but I like that little "three's a crowd" vibe Yuzumori gives on the top of page 7. And then there's the little subtlety of her not so much as looking at Shi-chan until she can't ignore her gawking. I definitely have to agree this demands a great chapter 10 now.

I guess somebody who'd design a game about flaying teddy bears and wearing their flesh would enjoy eating bear-shaped foods a little too much.
