Probably not. It wouldn't make sense for Kuzushiro to have said she wanted to restart it at a different publisher. It's more plausible that YH decided to end it at vol 6, Kuzushiro hoped to find a different publisher to keep it going, then couldn't actually get the green light for it.

Mist likely is because it became a mess. The story loss it's originally concept and had too many characters that readers were barely able to remember after awhile.

The "Free Agent" strip is implying they have a deal that it will be Otome's turn to fondle Mari's breasts due to the baseball result (in Japanese the title was "FA" - their cup sizes - and Mari is referring to the trope of breasts growing bigger through fondling), then in the next strip Otome has changed into pyjamas and is tidying up the clothes Mari had been wearing while Mari is already in bed.

I just looked the artists who write this, and no surprise both guys.

Not surprising considering how the girls act and the yuri is handled. The girls act more like parodies of yuri characters than actual lesbians

This story is no longer fun to read. It's just introducing new characters left and right and forgetting all about the main two. Worse the characters that are being introduced are forgotten about almost immediately because we won't see them for awhile in favor of introducing more new characters. Reading this has turned into a chore and remembering these, to be honest forgettable, new characters has become a pain, since there's so many of them. Me losing my love for this manga can also be partially because I don't like Kuzushiro has much as I once did when this manga was first starting.

I seriously want a manga with just Torao and Ryuuzaki, I like the other characters but this 2 only appeared in 2 chapters and I absolutely love them.

Hm...meh, those "let's get serious...Not! It's joke!" moments are getting stale. Yaoi never seems to have this much comedy with teasing, they just go all out.

I like those girls, but comedy school girl yuri always feels like it will end with no progression at all. Now I know they like baseball and get love letters...ok. The dom thing was kinda amusing, but overall that chapter was more irritating for me.

Look, I'm pretty sure that is implied that they had sex in the end, I just not show because is a freaking comedy 4-koma so is not really necessary, not saying you have to like it but is not just teasing with this 2 at least

Seemingly not, because at this point is obvious that Yurika is gay as hell and simply doesn't want to accept it. The best example of this is precisely the arc with her dad. If she truly cared only about guys, then her dad taking away her harem would've been a blessing for her, and yet she decided to protect her girls from the sleazeball that is her dad.

She wanted to beat her father. It was clear it was more about the competition than her getting these women. And if she did want to protect the girls from her dad that's still more about the conflict with her dad than her being gay. What part of a woman openly being annoyed she only gets girls attention and drools over men screams gay? Would you say the same if Yuzu from Citrus started crushing hard on a man?

I can definitely understand where you guys are coming from though. Because of how this manga works, when Yurika's father said they were gonna be rivals now, that means he's gonna try to get yurika's harem from him, basically a mass ntr situation. And I can definitely understand that just the possibility of that is infuriating, just one girl getting taken away from her partner is hard enough, so a whole harem (or at least a large part) getting taken would prolly be devastating. Let's just hope this arc ends quickly guys coz i really enjoy this series, but like every yuri, putting het in it really lowers its quality, but that's just me uwu

The problem is less het in this yuri manga and more the lead wants to be in a het relationship in this yuri manga. If Yurika's dad got her a bf I don't think she'd care about what he does with her "harem".

^^this story was never really good imo. A story about a straight woman with the "power" to make women want her is kind of a dumb concept to me. The girls aren't really lesbians and everything just feels like a gag. I don't think a manga that treats being gay as just funny was ever gonna be good.

Jesus Christ Karou's time in high school is pretty depressing.

I do hope Uta picks up. If she doesn't I fear Kaoru might harm herself. Risako and Reiichi are ruining her life and I think her getting away from them with Uta is what she really needs.

Using this context, I've raped someone while simultaneously being raped myself.

Also, the fact that MC remembers Landlady calling her name and being gentle, and a general lack of guilt toward their encounter makes me feel inclined to say that while this is certainly a dubious set of events that it wasn't rape.

The themes in this story definitely skirt the line of propriety but as far as we've seen MC doesn't feel threatened or guilty, she's actually showing positive growth. The framing of the story makes us aware of the compromised beginning, like bluntly, and doesn't try to erase it and instead uses it to show that these 2 girls are lonely and socially isolated and can learn from each other.

(so far as we know at least. some people are perfectly fine being alone at home with few friends just pursuing their own interest. jomo)

I don't think just because she remembers things about what happened and doesn't feel abused doesn't mean it's not still rape. She didn't want to have sec with her and when she woke up was shocked that she did, implying she wasn't in the right state of mind when it happened. Even though people see it as differently she still had sex without her being fully aware or under dubious consent, which makes me see it as rape.

The art is insane, but the story is such a shame. Why do they have to go the "I'll turn you gay" route, there isn't even a hint of the tenant being bi/gay, feels more like a stockholm syndrome story

I agree. I'm not a fan of her pushing her feelings on the other girl like this.
