Mercedes's S support is one of the best, she's great for Byleth. For me she's the 2nd best pick after Edelgard

Agreed. Edelgard is best wife for Byleth IMO with Mercie a very close second.

If we get just one extra with an after story, then the entire ending will be saved..., however, there's not even a The End on the last page lul.

Seriously... Missed that at first as well. Would have kept waiting for the next chapter forever if I hadn't by chance noticed that a friend on MAL had marked it as finished. Imagine my surprise...

I came back for the last few updates today, and I had no idea that it was even there. I didn't even realize it was over until I saw the heading on the manga page.

That was a really unsatisfactory ending, IMO. Generally speaking, I hate open endings like that. I prefer my stories be resolved. Sucks, because this story is really cute.

An era has finally come to a close, and I'm just not ready for it. T_T

This whole Exams arc has just been too adorable. Himawari is too damn precious.

Also, didn't we learn Himawari's real name at some point? I feel like we did, but I can't remember. May have to go back and read again.

Just got a bit of confusion: the girl with the cut hair, is she “transgender” or “tomboy” because she identifies herself as “Boku” which in Japanese means “I” for males. Anyone noticed that, too?

Hm. I dunno how I feel about that ending. The story was cute and I definitely enjoyed it, but the ending just didn't feel satisfying. Maybe because it felt a little bit rushed? I've never been big on those "all of a sudden, it's years later" endings. I prefer that kind of thing as more of an epilogue than a finale. Yuzumori-san was the same way.

But I really hate that senpai seems to not remember the past at all, and that nana doesn’t remember the gap since she returned. Like yeah it’s happy you get to be with the person you love now, but you’re also missing 10 years of being with her…my least favorite time travel trope -.-

Agreed. That's really my only major complaint with the ending is that "I don't remember" cop-out. If it had been a one-night stand kind of deal, maybe; but given how influential Nanasawa was in the past, you think she'd remember the event and that time pretty vividly, considering how it's the entire reason where she is.

"Yankee" (ヤンキー) means " (juvenile) delinquent". It's what's referred to as "wasei eigo", i.e. loanwords from other languages that have a very specific meaning in Japanese but make little sense to someone who doesn't know how the word is used in Japan.

Mmm, that jealousy. Seeing how Yuzu's gotten her life together, a shot at a good future and a caring fiancée she loves dearly, while the old friends are still flitting around really got under Kana's skin, didn't it?

I mean, we already know how this is gonna turn out (to most any conflict that will arise in this midquel) since the two were already shown at Mei and Yuzu's wedding; but that's still some yummy jealousy.

That's my guess. Looks like she's comparing cups and getting frustrated at being short-changed.

I...really love this story, actually. It's kind of refreshing to see topics like this get worked out in a healthier way (so far, at least) instead of the oceans of (often unnecessary) drama that usually come with it.

Always looking forward to when she comes out to her friends. :v

Also, props to that one friend who caught on immediately and just kept quiet.

My reasons:
1. She didn't respect the privacy of the secret that was given to her
2. She thinks "OH IF I HELP THEM EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY!" She clearly thinks she like this god who can sway human emotion
3."All I wanted was for you guys to be friends"
That's what she wanted(selfish)
4.She is not involved in the root of the problem. The best she could have done is to like give advice not force them to make up!!!!!

A quick rebuttal.
1. Not gonna touch this, these chapters come out far enough between that I don't fully remember every little detail of the chapters that come before, I don't remember if she mentioned anything to Yori.
2. More like she thinks like a young girl who wants to help her friends stop fighting with each other.
3. Wanting to help her friends resolve a major point of stress is not selfish.
4. Not being involved in the root of the problem gives her a good position as a neutral mediator. She's friends with both sides and has both parties' best interests at heart. It's not her fault that one party adamantly refuses to communicate.

Give me a series of this.

I'm not sure what does it accomplish to make Hima become Laureley's manager though ?

I'm confused on that too, but I think she's trying to punish Yori even though Yori didn't do...anything to her, really. Way Shiho sees it, Yori took Aki from from, so she's going to try and "take" Hima from Yori.

If I'm right, it's probably not going to bother Yori all that much (since Yori's not possessively obsessed) and that will likely just become another thorn in Shiho's side.
