Well, it was specifically mentioned the monsters around there were weak, so that might signal the blue and yellow hairs showing up - especially since they wouldn't recognize the disguised monsters, leading to some interactions.

I liked the thing until I got kinda dubious about the -us and double-checked whether the apple thing was true - it's malum for apple, malus would be a fruit/apple tree.

It's ruined for me now :(

So we have a fluffy food manga with a yuri love triangle where the main love interest is completely clueless about it. That has got be a first.

Yeah, Food is completely oblivious to its ever-growing harem. Countless girls gushing about it? Being eaten every day and somehow still not catching on? Out of all the dense MCs I've ever seen, Food takes the cake.

They played chapter 29 very straight. Straight, as in, they left out a lot of the humor in facial expressions and reactions. Also straight in the sense that they made it much more deliberately gay. The background music for the whole sequence seemed like an odd choice, though, and some of the funniest moments in the series were lost in their interpretation.

This might be the first time the show's disappointed me at all - the rest of it's been quite solid. Lose a unique visual style and a lot of expressiveness in exchange for looking generically good. Better than average trade when it comes to adaptations.

Almost as real as KC Green's The Anime Club.

Didn't expect that boat scene at all. With those NPCs, combined with Zinnia, Lisia, and Courtney's interactions with the player, ORAS was pretty great. SuMo has Lillie, but other than that, not much.

You know, stupid theory, but perhaps Tsukasa was that takoyaki shirt wearing "boy" that Washio fell in love with? Kotooka did mention that she looked a lot like a boy in the past... I don't think they even went to the same grade school, but, yeah, that's why this is a stupid theory.
