This was cute so far, but I feel it wasn't executed very well. I hope the writing gets better. (I am routing for the kuudere!)

This was excellent. People are complaining that too much happened too quickly, but I disagree. Yes, there was a lot of information to take in, but the pacing was perfect, in my opinion. You can see how the main character is developing.

I really liked this but the story moved way too fast. I would like to see this redone, but in several chapters. Right now the pacing has me confused about the whole illegitimate thing. I am not sure how she pieced that all together.

I loved this. The art was great and I loved all of the metaphors with flowers. I would love to see more of this.

Omg I finally got to read the last chapter! I loved this one so much. It is definitely one of my favorites. I was so scared that Kazumi was going to reject her at the end... But they ended up together <3

I admit that Chapter 2 was all over the place and the writing was weak. However, I think that Chapter 1 and 3 were really good and I want to see how it goes. I like the kuma girl :3

Why is everyone calling this manga stupid? While I personally do not believe in cheating, the manga isn't stupid. I admit that Yuma is stupid, but mainly she is just confused, which is perfectly plausible. I think the whole manga is plausible. Most girls would become confused in a situation like this, especially in Japan where gender roles still hold strong and homosexual relationships are not really acknowledged in society. For Yuma, she cannot distinguish between childhood friendship and a lesbian relationship because she has no prescedent for it.

This was... wow. Her new stuff is so much better. Even without all of the unnecessary sex, the story was all over the place. I really couldn't follow what was going on. However, I do think the concept of the girl with demons was cool and I like how she became an unholy thing in the name of God. If Morinaga-sensei revisited this, she could take out the sex and all of the other unneeded stuff, and focus on the core concept. Then it would be a good story. She could also develep the girls' relationship and make it into a yuri decent story.

This is 10 years old. This was long before Kisses and Girl Friends, when she was still doing mostly doujins and hentai. What happened is that she mellowed out and made enough of a name so she doesn't have to cater to the fetish of the week.

Still, I take your point. A lot of her older stuff was kind of hard core like this, and since she started getting published by the better magazines and anthologies, Morinaga Sensei's work has gotten a lot less hard core and a lot better. Maybe her more recent work is the kind of thing she wanted to do all along.

I think Mare may have been close to the last of that earlier type of material she did, and it was probably completed before she did "Even if We're not Friends."

I agree with you guys. Many artists need to do things they don't want before they make it into the industry. A lot of actors start out as porn stars before they get actual acting roles. Morinaga-sensei was probably just doing what she had to before she could start making the yuri we love so much.

I am going to ignore the in depth discussion and just say that I think this series is freaking adorable.

I hate cheating myself, but I think in Yuma's mind it isn't cheating because Hotaru is just messing with her. Hotaru, on the other hand, seems to have no qualms about anything. However, if Yuma and Hotaru actually get together and they are still with their boyfriends, then I will be upset.

Omg, this was a perfect yandere masterpiece. I am just as sad as everyone else to see it end, but I don't think it could have gone on much longer. I think the constant trying to kill each other would gotten old eventually and it would have dragged on. But again, still upset that it is over.
