I vaguely remember a manga from a while back where one of the characters wore the opposite gender’s school uniform by abusing the loophole that their school’s regulations only required the students to wear “the” school uniform, but didn’t specify if it had to be the boys’ or girls’ one.

A few years ago I read an article about some Japanese schools intentionally changing their regulations like that in order to become more accommodating for trans students. Some schools went even further by only requiring students’ school uniforms to consist of the approved items, so students were free to mix and match as they wanted. Apparently, the girls’ blouse and blazer with the boys’ pants became a popular combination for girls in winter, to the surprise of absolutely no-one.

This chapter seemed less coherent than most of the others.

... I like that shirt. I also liked a few of Nina's outfits from her performances and I'm kind-of curious if something similar can be found for every day in the US.

Clearly we need a version of this where the Japanese girl is the leader of a sukeban gang and the Korean girl is their equivalent of moe.

Those kiss marks are a lot less appealing when you realize they're supposed to be pudding and not lipstick. It strikes me as very sticky, and not in a good way.

Something about the girl in front's face doesn't sit right with the rest of the art. I think the issue is that all the scenery is extremely detailed and realistic, but their bodies are more stylized and then there faces go a step further into moe short hands. The end effect is that it looks like they were pasted onto a photo and then their faces were pasted on to their bodies, but none of them actually belong together.

It might also be that the scaling or the positioning is a bit off, because it's much more of an issue for the girl in the front, but it's not like the other gir's face in drawn in a more detailed style.

Does the middle background character on the second page look like some sort of evil clown/jester to anyone else? I think it's the combination of the smile and the two dots on her cheek. It's probably nothing, but she just stands out a lot more than most of the other background characters and I wonder if she'll become an actual character at some point.

And this is why I refuse to play HoYo games. They might have good mechanics, but they also have gacha and that ruins everything.

People at that school seem really mean. First we saw the demon girl bullying the troll girl, then we saw her getting bullied about her centaur girlfriend, and now she's back to bullying the caterpillar girl.

Edit: Wait, no, that was her centaur wife, so either that comic happens later or its someone else. Either way, the demon girl and the witch seem to like bullying people.

With how deep that stake was, and the way the nurse seemed to need some rope to get it out, the fact that the MC could just yank it out makes me wonder if she might be somewhat superhuman herself.

I just realized two things. First, the summary specifies that all the students at this school are orphans, which I don't think came up in the first chapter, but feels pretty significant.

Second, she's just starting middle school, so she's what, 12? That makes the "find a lover" command even more weird. Are there any other possible interpretations or connotations that could have been lost in translation, like the Villainess thing, or that she might be missing in universe?
