Nah in the flashback, it seemed that they were in a kind of relationship, mostly Asuka went out with her to supress her attraction towards her mother or something like that ( I think it's the period when she realized she has feelings for her mother).

I highly doubt Asuka was actually in a relationship with her or at the very least didn't understand what it means to be in one. That flashback seemed very one-sided with Asuka being rather resentful too.
The context of the chapter implied that she only realized her feelings for her mom were romantic at that point when Miyuki did that to her, so no, it wasn't to distract from her feelings.

Rape, well, that was an exaggeration of course. I meant that she was probably really pushy and touched her somewhere that she didn't expect/want.

And yes, in the Jun chapter, when he asks her when she realized, the flashback shows her with Miyuki. So probably that was a "this is nice, but it'd be better with mom ... wait a minute!" moment.

Also, no way this "we're not making any drama, even when it's about something like incest"-story features rape. Maybe (probably) senpai was pushy with her kissing, but I doubt they went further than that ...

On the other hand in a story that has no inhibitions on incest, I doubt doing something more than kissing with a confused teenager is out of the question either.

Until now the story has been mostly fluffy, so we'll see where it will go. The drama mostly stems from losing the father till now, but that can't be milked indefinitely.

In all seriousness though, I liked the evolution of their relationship and that Anzu actually appreciates Karin's tsun side in her own way, but knows when to bring out the dere. That duality is what makes tsunderes the best.

NepNowa is all about that jokey exterior with the emotional layers below. If you play all the games and pay attention there are quite a few key scenes that cement this as the most popular HDN ship it is. The remakes are somewhat more direct about it.
UniGear is basically canon tho (Tagmension, although being an AU spin-off, having a literal confession of love and all), so I see why people jump on that easier.

Kaoru is an odd case to me. It seemed pretty obvious in flashbacks that Reiichi liked Risako and not her, but suddenly his mom is responsible for her mom dying and he asks her to marry him. That right there should've set off alarm bells that he's not marrying her out of love. In fact, if he's really cheating with Risako it's because Risako is the one he really wants to be with.

From what her friends said, Kaoru and Reiichi seemed to have been in a on-again-off-again kind of relationship until they married. Risako also seems like the type who really doesn't care about romance, but only career. I'm not entirely buying into that "affair" just yet.
There was also that scene during Christmas. I can't honestly say that I think Reiichi lied when he told Kaoru that he loved her there. The question is if that "love" sprung from his protective instinct rather than pure romance. The fact that Kaoru was all on her own and seemed to have furiously been fighting for Reiichi's affection over years, essentially making their family her only anchor, might indeed play a role in his decision. It almost feels like he wants to keep his family together in his own way...
