Kanna is lucky, having two moms is pretty great. Can recommend from personal experience.

^ its a very cute and wholesome show. The yuri is pretty strong. Tohru is in love with kobayashi and even some yuri between the lolis

^Yuri gets very strong, especially towards the end.
In the show at least.
Manga Kobayashi is much more hostile and manipulative and is almost an entirely different character. I'm glad they went with the lighter/softer actual yuri tone for the show, it's just a little odd if you've read the manga first.

The anime actually spends a fair bit more time shipping teh roris than the manga, IIRC. Then again if memory serves it didn't do the Let's Get Closer scene and the brats have a spin-off manga of their own so that's a wash I guess? (Anyway Saikawa's mad gay for circa ten-year old...)
I thought the show was amazing - my fav of the year - even setting aside yuri.
But the yuri was pretty strong! Tooru loves Kobayashi - who certainly loves her back but unclear if romantically - certainly she loves her at least in the sense of someone she wants to spend the rest of her life with and will risk her life to keep.
And Saikawa loves Kanna too. There are quite a few scenes for the 2 loli but it is mostly from Saikawa.
Like everyone says though they make a beautiful family and the show does a great job building that and making clear how much they all love and care fore each other.
Amazing animation and voice acting (if you watch the subs) and characters too.
P.s The manga has a lot less yuri or feels imo.

A cute family. <3
Edit: @TifalovesAerith I tried to suggest the Family tag (you can suggest tags in the button besides the source button, mind that not all posts have a source button though) but it turns out that's not a tag on Dynasty. :[

I actually somewhat dislike the english dub of the anime, cause I feel some of the changes they made are unnecessary and it seems to go out of its way at times to kill any chance of a relationship between Kobayashi and Tohru

Dubs aren't necessarily bad. Dubs can be bad, but that doesn't mean all of them are automatically back.
But if you want to see bad anime dubs, you should see Brazilian dubs produced in the city of Campinas. Netflix sent a lot of their original anime to there, and Crunchyroll did the same with their first three anime dubbed in Brazil (Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Mahou, Schwarzes Marken and Rokka no Yuusha). The quality of the dubs (which already wasn't that great imo, I think they lack emotion in the acting) ended up dropping a lot due to that, and now pretty much nobody wants stuff to be dubbed there anymore.

In the bits of the manga which aren't (yet) covered by the anime, Kobayashi-san eventually admits that she does feel something for Tohru, and it's probably romantic, and she's not sure how she feels about the fact that she has romantic feelings for Tohru. It's actually kinda cute and sweet.

@everyone Thanks for all the different analyses!
It sounds like starting with the anime is best and then diving into the manga. I did that with Candy Boy, too, and it turned out well.
