I'm 90% sure that's a cultural thing without the same connotations in Japanese(much like lily lacks the connotations in English).

That's the problem with dense characters like Yuzu: how do you make them feel the love tonight without getting them out of character? Yuzu's taken a step with Kaede ignoring her, but she's still got a ways to go until she realizes it.

Having Nagisa around gives Homura and Mami an excuse to throw down, which apparently they wanted to do from the beginning since Mami didn't get to show off her skills well in the series. Using "Bebe" as the mechanism probably was just fan service, though.

Moving on, episode 10 of the series shows Homura distancing herself from Madoka more and more as the loops wore on. Rebellion is the ultimate culmination of that: Homura's sought to save Madoka for what may well be a thousand loops. When she gets to meet Madoka again after she erases her own existence, our rather psychotic heroine finds one more way to "save" her, only realizing after it was too late that she'd done Madoka no favor and quite possibly severed any chance of them being close again.

Loli-chan doesn't even look like she's paying attention. "Shh! I'm getting to the good part!"

How far into a series does something have to be for it to be a spoiler? The original Full Metal Alchemist made a big deal about the revelation of his automail, but it's at the end of the first episode and nobody can seriously call it a spoiler worth tagging at that point. The tag for Madoka Magica seems to be mostly a shorthand for it being set in the Rebellion timeline, but can you really mark that on the series itself? At some point it's on the reader to understand they're going to be spoiled, possibly on big plot points, on works that came out after the parts you haven't seen/read.

Poking around Sadpanda, it looks like his art's changed with the times, even if there's not much of him on there.

I wonder how Raphi got Satania to strip? I highly doubt this was truly voluntary.

I was reading this thread and it dawned on me that it's simply called "Untitled discussion", but there are 27 works with "Untitled" as their only name. Would it be possible to differentiate the titles of the forum threads somehow?

I assumed she was 12 so waiting 4 years is a lot better than 6. I assumed that because Mimika says 'but your not even 13 yet!' at one point - and I can't see why you'd say 13 if she wasn't even 12 too.

As I recall, Japan's national age of consent is technically 13 and the laws establishing it at 16 are at the prefecture level(in all prefectures). That's also when Yuzumori would be in middle school, which is probably the more important fact.

I just noticed that they all have lifeless eyes except Umi. I found the original tweet here, but it doesn't seem to explain that.

@june-monkey: Yes, they're in middle school, but Papikana's gotta be at least thirty. Besides, any show with enough of a fanbase is going to erotic fan art, especially when we have an established couple like this.

Well, at least the "ten more volumes" banner was proven wrong - by one volume. The story probably would've benefited from being half that.

That squiggly smile would seem to corroborate your theory. The mindbroken also have heart-shaped pupils on a not infrequent basis, though Tsubasa's having star eyes might reduce the impact of that detail.

The northeast corner: I'm not sure what's Reimu's leg and what's Yukari's back. At the very least, the artist arranged things less than well.

Founding Madokaism seems like it would've been a better idea that confiding in Kyuubey. Telling him the details was just asking for trouble; at least with an organized religion you can make sure only the worthy archbishops know the terrifying secrets of the universe. It probably would've helped keep her from falling into despair since everybody else believed in Madoka and given their church a tenth of their battle rewards.

Edit: I did the math and, if the loop time is one month like I think, that means Homura's a supermillenarian at 1,291.5 loop years.

They still refer to each other as friends. They should know that they're in love by now.

It's probably because they started kissing to remain special to each other, literally on par with having desks right next to each other. Our lovable dunces are just too thick to have noticed things changed.

NicoMaki isn't a case of the dregs being thrown together: they have somewhat similar personalities(they're both tsunderes) and complement each other fairly well(Maki being the naive rich kid and Nico being the poor jaded type). Different ships bring out different aspects of each character and the interplay between Maki and Nico hit a chord.

Just because they are allowed to marry doesn't make it not incest, a child of first cousins still has a slightly higher risk of birth defects than one of more distantly related parents.

When it comes to tagging on this site I could have sworn that I have seen cousins dating tagged as incest before. I don't know if it's actually needed but I just like the idea of consistency.

There's definitely at least one, but it's an interesting question since so little of the world bans cousin marriage(let alone criminalizes relations).

This is... dark. I've got to agree that "depressing as fuck" doesn't quite describe it; "utterly disturbing" would be a better description. Anybody can write sad stories, but not everyone can write one that shakes you to the core.
