Is it just me, or do some of the lines of dialogue in this chapter seem a bit, I dunno, "clunky"?

And did Maekawa mean to say that she can't calm down without Shimizu being around, instead of being "too calm to put anything down on paper"? Because otherwise Shimizu referring sarcastically to herself as a helpfully calming tool doesn't make sense...

Yeah, that feels like some kind of translation issue. The opposite of what is expected is being said, and not in a sensical way.

Japan actually has its own entire culinary tradition for curry dating back to the 19th century which is distinct from Indian curry much like British curry is. Chocolate isn't an uncommon component and it does actually compliment the flavour profile of a Japanese curry.

I get that they have their own culinary traditions, but my point was that putting fruity things into curry is not a Japanese thing. It's actually quite common.

Also, if at all possible, men usually do not choose urinals directly besides other men.

With regards to the manga itself:

A. Hino's emerging sense of shame continues to amuse me

B. I think Hino failed, but I genuinely don't know and appreciate the suspense.

C. I'm surprisingly unbothered by how Koguma is sexualized despite how underage she looks. I don't feel like it's for me to be titillated. It's just there. Not sure how this series gives me that impression but I like it.
