I had almost forgotten about this one so I went back and re-read all the previous chapters. A good time was had!

I wouldn't call it a letdown. I'd say an introspective flashback was needed for whatever comes in volume two.

Also, that evil stepmother headmistress.

This has certainly got my hopes up for the second volume. Looking forward to it and maybe a Fiona and Amy reunion.

I can't get over the fact that while Nico is symbolized as a rabbit, Maki's symbol is a tomato.

On the one hand, it's rare TorakoxAsagi. On the other hand, Asagi is being kind of whimsically cruel. I'm torn.

Sakamoto Mano's art is really something else. I think it's that certain sketchiness it still possesses.

If this is how the university arc concludes, it will have been a really odd arc. I still can't bring myself to care about the other girls or the fighting crew people.

So Maki's father trusts Nico. I'd love to say that's like trusting the cat to keep the cream, but sadly, their tsundereness is going to keep them from any sinful behavior.

Thank you so much for translating it. It caught my attention a few weeks ago on pixiv, but reading about Mutsu's dismantling made it even more grim dark than I had anticipated.

I would very much love to read about them just taking a convertible for a spin, though.

e: and I can't really see the top brass as the good guys. Who in their right minds makes people fight for them just to dismantle them once the war is over? That's not treating them as an end, just as a means.

I think I'm going to have to buy those half damaged Nagato and Mutsu's figurines. ;_;

Senpai seemed really nice at first and that last line took me by surprise.

No idea what is supposed to happen on pages 48 and 49. I really can't tell.

The fact that her characters look like Shizuru and Natsuki managed to tide me over those past seven years of ShizNat drought. It's not only a bad thing. :3
