The first chapter got turned into a voice comic -- Taiyaki channeled her powerful shipping energy into getting the VAs of Yugiri and Lily from ZLS (Rika Kinugawa & Minami Tanaka) to voice Sayaka and Yuuki.

I laughed when the folks at Yuri Hub told me about this a while back and put the pieces together as to why those particular actresses were chosen.

So is it okay now to upload (free) english chapters here? I'm addressing this question to you as well as to moderators right now.

I would probably assume no, since it's still technically an official release.

Technically it's Maoa's seals that turn Yanyan the crow into Shadi the human/vampire (normally it's those tags/stickers she sticks on, but I guess Maoa's barrier accomplished the same thing too). As for what's being sealed, however, I guess we'll have to wait until the next chapter.

I think I managed to see the continuation (at least it was marked 2/2). It was after they both left the train and Tsukushi seemed to comfort Hinoka and hug her, with some blushing during the hug, I think there was mention to the bra being unhooked which may have been what prompted the blushing. My Japanese is terrible though and I only know very few kanjis, so I may be completely off base with what happened. I also only skimmed it sadly, as I was waiting on the translation. Sad to read it was taken down though understandable, I suppose.

The 2/2 was technically because it was eight pages over two tweets.

Currently debating if it's something we should typeset or just leave in the void.
To summarise:
Tsukushi and Hinoka get seperated in a crowded train, and Tsukushi holds off on trying to squeeze past the other passengers to get to her. Then she spots chikanman and comes to her rescue, shooing him away as they leave the train. As Hinoka is reeling over the incident, Tsukushi blames herself for leaving Hinoka on her own and comforts her, at which point she discovers Hinoka's bra had been unhooked, leading Tsukushi to once again curse chikan man as she takes her to the bathroom.
I would imagine the second part would've involved some gay hijinks involving Tsukushi trying to fix Hinoka's bra, which admittedly would've caused tonal whiplash potentially worse than what the chapter itself already had.

the 3rd kanji, by itself is read as “man”
so it’s understandable ppl would read her name as MANKO instead of MAKO
which is why she started using katakana to write her own name instead of the kanji

Ah okay. That was kinda lost upon me since all the Japanese text got translated.

Er, so why was she teased and why did she have to tell the teacher how to say her first name? Am i misunderstanding something? Her first name is Mako right- written in katakana - マコ ? That is incredibly straight forward to read even for children. And pussy is omanko from what i remember - オマンコ.

They are calling her that even tho only half the characters are the same and are not even together? It doesnt sound that similar either?

Basically Mako as a name isn't normally spelled in katakana, but manko is (the "o" is optional), so it's easier to either misinterpret or make jokes about it. It's the same thing as the Wako/Wanko joke from The Two of Them, since both Wako and wanko are written in hiragana. An English equivalent would be how the number 40, written as "forty", might look a bit like "farty".

I'm a little confused about the "idiot couple" tag... I mean, Kageko seems a little oblivious, but I'm sure I remember them kissing and fooling around. Or is it more to do with the fact Sakurako can't flat-out say how she feels, combined with the fact that Kageko somehow doesn't seem to realize that they're in a relationship?

Idiot Couple is a step up from Useless Lebians, in that they actually managed to become a couple, but they are still a few IQ digits short of becoming Genius Lesbians.

@Goggled Anon, did I get that right? Is 1 x 1/2 japanese serialization going to be free from now on with 1 month delay from paid version? What about english version?

For the Japanese version at least, the new version will be posted on Pixiv Comic one month after its Fanbox version. You'll have to ask Yuri Hub about their plans for the English version since I'm not involved with 1x1/2's translation this time around.
