Huh. Surprisingly, these more violent KaguMoko comics don't bother me as much as I thought they would. I actually kind of like this depiction (though I still prefer fluff).
Times like these, I really dislike how Umi is portrayed as an annoying prude. She should mind her own business and leave the other girls flirt as they want. ><
To be fair, it seems in this case she was more worried about the possible scandal that may happen if they were to get in a relationship rather than just her being prudish (though that probably played a factor as well).
Reading this article makes me kinda sad for the state of femslash in the internet right now. Maybe this'll finally motivate me to write more fanfiction!
Thank you, Nez. Why are people making such a big deal out of this anyways? In pretty sure a lot of people posting haven't even seen it.
My wild guess, dissapointment.
I mean, watching the super strong subtext knowing that's going to end being het is like... "Oh my God! Why they don't make it yuri, works MUCH better, just looks at that chemistry for God's sake!!!"
Or probably I just saying nonsense again.
Ah, and don't forget that some people after seeing too much subtext shattered by the canon het is just a bit... defensive? cynical? Despaired?
That's understandable, though laughing at the people that still did ship it got annoying quick.
The synopsis for 'Transit Girls' the yuri J-Drama is out
"The story follows the relationship between the two girls, Sayuri and Yui, as they start to live together under one roof as step-sisters. Despite their initial distaste for each other and the fact that they couldn't be more opposite in looks and personality, they eventually start to develop feelings for each other... How will their romance take shape? -- Fuji TV"
2 days till the premiere.
That storyline seems pretty popular, huh? Considering the amount of Pseudo-Incest works on the site, anyways.
From what I could tell from some of their interactions and the "I'm Just Your Problem" , they broke up because Marceline didn't treat Bubblegum like she was perfect like her subjects did and because Bubblegum was too focused on ruling her kingdom. They've since made up and are friends again, though.
The highest level of yuri Adventure Time probably ever gonna has
The comic version is a bit more free to add subtext, plus the creators totally ship them.
Yeah, I think we talked about it in the Media thread and somebody posted a few pages from the comic that basically hints at their marriage, I don't kow which page it was on but if I remember correctly, there was a 10 year time jump and they ruled the Candy/Vampire kingdom together.
That was me, here is the picture for those curious. There's a lot more subtext in the comics, particularly in Marceline Gone Adrift (is that canon?) and Marceline and the Scream Queens.
Ahh, actually using Dio's name kinda kills it for me. I hate it when a parody comes right out and says it.
Despite that, you can't deny that this doujin is all sorts of awesome, right? Plus, Dio being Sakuya's dad reminds me of all of those crossover pics of them on Danbooru.
