K. I read that bonus chapter. Now, so long after college and Riko still refers to her relationship with Miyako as "trying out a relationship" with her. If it continues this way, she'll he trying out that relationship until her last day, lol.

From what we were told before I assumed Riko is the most common type of bisexual.... the ones who lean heavily towards one side and don't realize (or admit) that they are even bi. Now it seems more like she is being coy about the decision she made. Pretty cute~

Kimi ni Furete is definitely a better song with a better emotional impact, but Hectopascal is kind of addicting with its odd autotuned chorus~

I don't think like 3 messages counts as spam and it's still technically related to YagaKimi but, if you'll send me the link to your discussion I'll back you up.

Some people are pretty dumb. I watched a YouTube review of Monogatari yesterday and the guy didn't like it because he wants there to be more action, even though it's stated multiple times that violence won't really solve the problems and that these are psychological problems.

Stating that you find previous comments funny is not related to YagaKimi. Which is fine once or twice, but not every day. You know who I'm talking about.

I wasn't trying to rally people to my personal Crusade here. It was just a tidbit I wanted to share, because it's something I saw a lot during Episode 7's release. I never perceived it as a lot of lesbians, but then again I might be comparing it to the extreme 404 Men Not Found stories with literally only gay girls.

No offense, but my gender is irrelevant to the topic. As should be pretty much any reviewer's, but I guess that's too open minded. So yeah, I was basing my (clearly exaggerated) statement on my experiences as well. I knew there are people who like it. But I won't ignore and stamp off people who dislike it either.
No offense but just because a couple of people like the designs doesn't mean they are beyond critique.
No offense x 3, but America isn't the only country or culture in the world. I don't remember, but was it She-Ra, princess of America? lol
No offense x 4, but isn't the target audience supposed to be children? I know a lot of children (working part time at a day care center sometimes) and to nobody's surprise they want to watch pretty much any cartoon on TV. Children are kinda notorious for that. They enjoyed stuff like Winx Club with their ridiculous Barbie doll body types just as much as some exaggerated designs in Fairly Oddparents.
In the end you just talked to some people with the same mindset as you about what they want for their children, rather than actually thinking critically about the content itself. But hey, that might just be a misunderstanding. We wouldn't wanna generalize everyone who disagrees with us, right?

In other news, on some comment sections for the anime I had a (let's call it a) discussion with someone who claimed there are too many lesbians in the anime and it's completely unrealistic. Along the lines of in Yuri and Yaoi all characters always turn gay.
You think the anime having Sayaka and the adult couple revealed in the same episode made it feel too strained? YagaKimi is one of the most realistic yuri stories imo, where the percentage of straight to gay is very believable and BOYS EXIST. Like in the story. And they have actual roles other than being a threat.

Maybe those commenters don't know narrative focus, but what do I know?

As I said, I didn't watch much so I can't talk about the plot. I don't think it's very original, but what is these days? It's probably fine.
The character designs tho... jeez. You are taking what parents say as the actual opinions of their children. Kids DONT want to see "realistic" body types (maybe teens do, sometimes). That was never a thing. Fantasy idealizes for a reason. Just because the parents are happy that this is a thing doesn't mean the children care. They'd like the show either way, designs be damned. Otherwise the original She-Ra and He-man would have never gotten any fans with their terrible designs and subpar plots lol
And I am not actually defending the terrible 80s glam BS, but some "realistic" body types aren't realistic at all on average. Also gotta love the freckles = realistic stereotype. Because as we all know, 9/10 kids have freckles.
The one thing I really wanted them to change about She-Ra is her stupidly long hair... and that's the only part they kept for the new series lol

Idk the story is just too slow for me. Touko should just stop being an emo and grow the hell up. She is suffering from the ultimate 1st world problem: the girl she loves, after a long time thinks she is amazing and loves her back. Wow, what a horrible problem to have.

Maybe you are the one who needs to get over yourself, eh? This "issue" would probably not exist if you didnt have to wait a month per chapter. There is no "too slow" here, not if you'd be able to read it all in one go anyway. Working through psychological issues takes a fair amount of time. How many chapters has it been since Yuu's confession? Oh yeah, just two. Of which 1 didnt even focus on Touko and Yuu. It's almost like it can't get resolved that fast~

And you're once again showing that you don't really seem to get the story or its themes that much. I don't even wanna say that about you, but you just keep rubbing it in. The worst part is probably that you think this is funny lol
