I just feel a little bit weird, since I have read this manga up till Chapter 7. Granted it is a translation instead of raw, so how come we are still behind compare with other websites (mostly generic, shounen. shoujo..you get the idea).
Is it possible that this website started off as shoujo, or generic one, and then it became more and more Yuri thanks to words of mouths. or words of email??? Once it gets going, nobody can stop it except the admin, and that is a lot of work for a few people who worked for free (volunteers). I am not sure if the admin would spend much time on determination, because it is possible that a yuri relationship is not revealed until, say. chapter 3 of a manga. Plus sometimes some manga is difficult to be classified, such as Futari Escape.from YHC. You would have thought every manga in the magazine is Yuri, and then out comes a comedy with zero romantic elements. (another one which I like is Nishi Uko's Collectors from Le Paradis).

In any case, thanks for yall hard work. I found this place because I came from the yaoi and shoujo background, and when mangadex got P0wned, this site became my default. Every morning I would checked the latest release.

There was no magazine that was solely intended for Yuri, and in this case, it got burred inside Margaret. I thought this website exclusively contains Japanese Yuri manga only. Or Two women as very close friends (Futari Escape)
If a manga that is not Yuri, but rather a Josei, Seinen or Shoujo (such as this one), won't that mean anyone can upload the complete set of the Lol eromanga by Higashiyama Shou? Here we have his 3 non H manga: Prism (Canceled due to copy rights tracing), Stretch (not a Yuri in the strictest sense), and Vampeerz?
So, where is the redline for uploading? Also, your Yuri can be someone else' H; Someone else Yuri can be your Lol Ero.

Can anyone point out to me why is this belongs to the Yuri genre? Or the plot in the second chapter will have Yuri material?

I have finished chapter 7 from another site. It is an age-gap manga, and not a single panel of Yuri.
I still do not know why this manga was uploaded here. The manga is definitely a shounen one, despite the MC being a woman.

Yes, I <3 Takemiya Jin because she takes no prisoners. Most gay characters are either inside the closet, outted already, or has already come out. But more importantly, she gives no excuse. If you are gay, then you are gay, none of those excuse such as "Senpai and I are childhood friends, I admire her, and I am not gay. " BS. A lot of her works are really Josei or Seinen on one foot, Yuri in the other.

Is this one published in YHC, or the author has published something in YHC? This is because the author submit a short Yuzu x Mei story in the Citrus Anthology.

Well, we finally caught up, its nice that I have the raw all along and now the English is now here, up to date.
This is probably the least desired story that I follow in Comic Yurihime. I read it only because it is there inside the anthology. The plot is quite predictable. Now that Shizuku did what she wanted in the first place, all we have is how Kaori will do. The fact that there are only two themes in the plot (apology to a person. then friend is very sick and possibly terminal), means that you have no choice but to have the manga finished. Any new plot will just drag the whole thing down. Especially the title explicit states that this is happening during a summer.

There really has nothing to analysis and comment, for everyone in this forum. The plot is very week, even the apology plot seems not sincere, because the author did not truly explore on the character's feeling.

I do not care whether it will be a tragic ending or not. As long as the end is coming up quick. To me it runs out of my patience.

There is always a possibility that he treats Lolieromanga as his bread and butter, while waiting for a break through to get into mainstream genre, and Yuri is a big step forward for him. Then he false started Prism by being lazy. He would never have a chance to recover from tracing copyright material, but since he never stops his Loli work, he can afford to wait for another chance. His art is magnificent. In Loli he probably has to satisfy the fact that many readers read it only for the utilities, so no plot, or a plot that suddenly is gone, is normal. I read a few of the Loli from him, Great art, but no plot of any sort. Certainly NOT plot driven.
Now I think he has finally makes a masterpiece in Vampeerz. Personally I think it is the best Vampire Yuri that I have ever read, if not one of the three bests. I have read practically all mangas of this sub genre. (3 more to go, both are short stories).
Once he can establishes himself in Yuri, he is then only one step away from the mainstream, that is, Either shoujo or shounen; or Seinen and Josei. We shall see.

Maybe this is a cultural question. The year is now 2021. What do the general population, especially parents, that their still in high school kids have lovers of the same sex from the same class, would react? or the neighbors? or the teachers?
Nanase and Yuni are extremely scared of coming out.

This must be the MOST frustrating manga, especially Vampire-Yuri, that I have ever read. It is hands down the most gorgeous drawing style I have ever read. Yet, the plot is absolutely pointless. This is the equivalent of reading Loli Eromanga, with the art being stunningly beautiful, yet after a dozen of panels, all signs of a plot disappears and never comes back, as if it were a switch and bait.
How would vampires survived if humanity is all gone? One way or another the author has no clear explanation.
There is so much potential here. Perhaps in the future the manga artist can hook up with a good writer and make something beautiful. As it stands, the mangaka has zero talent in terms of creating plots.

I write this also because I read the entire manga (12 chapters, not just the 5 here). Perhaps one should just read until chapter 4 and call it a day. It is painful to finish reading this. I felt embarrassed. Consider I was planning to buy the two volumes because the computer screen does not justify the drawing from a physical copy. But I did manage to find the entire manga set online to read. It makes me wish I have never found this manga..

Can someone give another translation for Mei's "Thanks to this experience.." large panel? "Okagede tsuka ete ita mono ga toretaki ga suruwa" The page before the final page.

I don't recall when was the last time Yuzu said things that are so complex and mature about relationships in such a way that Mei can understand. November issue P.20-21. Even I have never thought about that, I bet a lot of couples also never think about the reason...and do it anyway.

There are 2 female editors in the magazine. I wonder in real life if there are more, or less, female editors in a eromanga magazine.
Tanaka is a complete professional, even though she is the youngest in terms of employment time, and still learning. I wonder if she found this job with Eromanga in mind, or just any editor job of a manga magazine will do. But she really really loves her job.

Oh, I also saw she draws too, I wonder why she is doing that?

Can relate to Tanaka in a way. I read a doujin about 2 weeks ago that wasn't really fucked in that way, but it still fucked with my feelings hard and comes to keep me awake when I try to sleep.

edit: just remembered kageki shoujo ep3 got me very nauseous and might have something come up and it didn't involve sex, so I can definitely see how takana could be made to vomit with it going further.

Did I read the wrong manga? I found Kageki Shoujo, but there is nothing special in chapter 3. BUT one of the characters has bulimia.

Just search his name on Nhentai or Ex-hentai and you will find his works.

Higashiyama Show right? Just finished Implicity and Girl Love diary. They have no plots. Or a plot that runs for 5 pages and then the rest of the 95 pages are nothing but sex; and ends without mentioning the plot or continuing the plot. Great Loli stuff if you are into it...just like all modern porn, no plot and no acting is required.

I guess writing Prism or Vampeerz must be a new and liberating experience for him...I hope....well, he did get a false start in Prism, which I believe is his first non-Loli work. Must be nice to be a well established Eromanga artist and can afford to have a non-Loli work canceled, and then get another chance soon after.

Let's hope that Vampeerz will be his greatest work, I miss Prism so much. It was beyond stupid to do the sort of tracing that he did, and got caught. You will get caught, sooner or later, too many people like to read manga.

You know what I've always wanted to know about her mother because I figured she'd have some kind of plot significance at some point in the story. I thought in like the last few chapters of
O.G Citrus she'd make some kind of surprise appearance (shame it didn't happen)

What kind of mom is that who does not show up at her daughter's wedding? You go even if your ex-husband has remarried. You go there for your daughter. Well, it will be a no show, as the final chapter-epilogue wedding scene shows (and no, the chance of her still inside the chapel is smaller than Sayaka and Miyabi still inside the chapel)
Yes, I counted and identified everyone in the wedding scene. Even Mineko (in a lot of school systems over the world, she would be referred as a dean) and their home room teacher show up. The only person who is not there is Grandma Taniguchi.

You said it! Tall or short, all of the dancers are going to be physically fit to a baseline degree. Toribami is someone who knows she needs to act in order to get what she wants, but Kiki is the one who is steadfast in following her dream.

You know, it is just a matter of adjustment and practice, and you will be able to dance with anyone who is skinny or fat, short or tall, and as lead or follow. In order to be a good dancer you will need to learn both lead and follow, for everyone. I don't think I have ever think or insist on being a lead or a follow. I tend to like lead for new comers, but follow if I dance with someone better, especially my teacher. But as I said, I still need to know how to both lead and follow. Finally you also need to learn choreography if you are serious.

To be honest, as a dancer for almost 20 years, there are inaccuracies here, OR I am in the dark for 20 years. Quadrilles is not a couple dance. It requires 4 couples. Sure you do dance with your partner, but it is never intended for a solo couple. Quad means four, after all.
In the credits, there shows two men dancing. The only historical correct m/m dance is the Argentine-Uruguay tango. The two persons do not seem to be dancing tango. 20th century box tango definitely is not for same sex for male, it is a complete white-wash of the tango intended for 10s and 20s social dance scene.

He's most known for his 18+ loli adult manga, so no surprise there... He continues to actively draw those as well (though not much as I think he's busy with VAMPEERZ).

Recommendations please? Where can I find some? not into loli, but I like the art he draws, even "Stretch" which I do not like. Now if he draws a yoga manga, then I will follow.

I probably have just finished reading Citrus for the 6th times. I finally found something that we all probably miss.
In the original series in Chapter 8, Mei was looking at a family photo. Page 15, 16, & 17. Mei's mother is in the photo. (Shou, Mei, and Mei's mother).
That is so unusual because her normal photo is always Shou, Mei, and Grandfather. I wonder why she looks at that photo at that moment as opposed to the one with grandfather in it, instead of her mom.

To my recollection, she’s a lot like Huck Finn’s mother in Mark Twain’s novel—by definition she must have existed, but we learn next to nothing about her.

I don't want to read it for the 7th time. That are 13+ volumes, maybe some other day. But Mei stated (Chapter 7 Pg 32) that she chose Shou instead of her mom when they divorced. As everyone knows, she worships Shou, because he put the school in front of his own happiness. That was how she accepted the divorce. She decided to take over the school (at the age of 11, 5th year at elementary school!!!), until Shou comes back. Because of that, pg 33 explains that she would do ANYTHING to protect the school, with a background panel of Amamiya and Gramps. She lost her purpose in life. She then wants to have sex with Yuzu, for the first time, and Yuzu did the right thing for refusing it. That sequence also explains it all. But how come the mom was never there except in a photo with a very young Mei for merely 3 pages I have no idea. There was neither direct reference, nor something that maybe you can guess. It is like a black hole. Also, Mei's mom is shown wearing traditional outfit (Yukata) in the photo.
Mei's belief comes from the old Shou. Yuzu's belief is backed up by the current Shou.
