I would so watch this if this became an anime. And yes, let's emphasize on decent budget. I was psyched to see Citrus got an anime adaptation but I honestly thought it looked terrible.

It's not just about looks, but also about getting talented VAs, direction, storyboarding, editing... Talent doesn't come cheap, unless you luck out and get a cast of rising stars early in their careers, and that's a gamble with long odds.

Not getting an anime adaption would hurt less than getting a really poorly made one that isn't enjoyable to watch, and that never gets more than one season.

Poor Kfufu. She needs a hug. And love. And support. And a lot of therapy... but she's a good kid, deep down. Which seems to be the underlying theme with the antagonists.

Someone please greenlight an anime adaption. With a decent budget. Please.

The last two chapters make me feel like I've just been punched in my soul... Bringing up a lot of painful memories.

Well, I've been thoroughly disappointed.

I'm definitely seeing a "she's going to lose her ability to see spirits, but now she has human friends too" ending. And I'll be entirely made of salt if that happens.

I will second and third that salt. Though I doubt that'll be the ending, since it doesn't mesh with the direction of the story at all.

Dying young and 'living' with the gang after death, though? ... well, that's a dangerous flag the last chapter raised.

And this is when we enter the useless lesbian arc where they dance around their feelings

Which is when X comes back and the only way to win is to loudly declare their undying love for each other, to channel the unbridled power of yuri.

This series just disappoints me, but I can't articulate exactly why. I like catgirls, I like maids, I like cute fluff pieces, I like yuri. The art is good. So I should like it... but every page just leaves me feeling mild disappointment.

I just finished binge watching the entire show. It is absolutely my new favorite.

I admit, it was fun to see the little lizard make the exact same mistake the heroes made about him. Can't they just agree that they both can be whatever they want, though...?

I'm hoping. Then they should kiss and make up.
