^I'm afraid you're right, the detailing hints at her being actually ripped rather than comfortably soft, kind of in spite of the last picture.

Second time reading the whole chapter: Top left panel mom killed me.

She's being such a fun, clingy tsundere. I wonder what other sides of her we'll discover, if Mai's description of her is anything to go by.

Swimming pool prices I guess. I literally said out loud "8500 Yen, what the fuck" when I read it.

I, too, enjoy the contrast between Be Careful, Onee-san and this :D
I wonder if Koharu will ever catch on that something isn't quite right about Ayase's relationship goals with her. I'm not sure if that would flow with the comedy, like, at all.

Well "guy" and "dude" are pretty much unisex these days (which I consider a good thing), but I also stumbled a bit here and there.

Still, it's rare to find a 4-koma that I might actually be willing to read, and this is one.

Well that relationship's off to a rocky start. Love it.

(also I wanted to point what DumShork just pointed out before me)

Well the problem is that chapter 25 is not part of Volume 3 anymore...
Though Urbs mentioned that they might be getting the raws early, so maybe we won't have to wait quite as long for what happens at this cliffhanger.

It's weird how subdued the yuri felt in LycoReco. On the one hand it's literally everywhere - in the title, in the art, production committee, setting, character design, character constellations, yet somehow there seems to be hardly any romantic affection between our leads. That's not to say that there isn't any and that it couldn't go there, but I am a bit baffled by it being so much more on a subtext level than in, say, Princess Principal.

Still, it's kinda cute seeing them all horny and lovey dovey.

And now... drama is coming

Well "coming back" maybe, but that's fair, isn't it?
At least now they get to have a story as a couple, which is always nice.

I don't think Yuki's actually in love with Tae in a romantic way (and am completely prepared to be proven wrong later). She's desperate for a loving Onee-sama and Tae just so happens to be her Onee-sama of choice.
Mai's flirting still feels so much more deliberate and directed.

I agree wholeheartedly. I feel like there's going to be a point where the difference in how these two feel about Tae will be clearly defined, and I'm looking forward to it.

Soooooo.... Any comments you 2?

In spite of current evidence I maintain my position.
Yuki's obsessed and fascinated with Tae, but regardless of what they themselves may think, probably has not actually fallen in love in a romantic sense. She's for once found an adult who's kind, gentle and attentive to her needs, so she's understandably jealous that someone else might be hogging her attention.
Yukari may think that Yuki's actually in love with her, which may contribute to Yuki herself thinking that as well, but I don't think that's actually what's happening.
Time will tell and I wouldn't be surprised if I'll have to concede within this volume.

Wanna know how happy seeing more chapters of this made me today?
Almost as happy as that happy ghost!

Lots of different artstyles can be beautiful and serve different purposes.

One of the most beautiful series I've read on here would be WataTabe by Naekawa Sai. It's not exactly unique in its approach (unlike BlueDsc's recommendation), but it's got some fantastic designs and detailing and meshes well with its rather creepy and unsettling undertones.

For something completely different, yet visually super appealing to me, I'd point you to Blue Skin, Big Tits or any other works by Zyugoya

The next one isn't yuri and once again quite different, yet also one of my favs in terms of art: Torako! Don't Break Everything!, a rather zaney slapstick comedy.

I also can't help recommending a look at Itou Hachi's work (here's a harmless, wholesome example) because I really do find her art extraordinary.

More typical again, yet also kinda striking, is IMO Yoshitomi Akihito's work which looks cleaner than the previous two, but is also quite opulent at times and decently recognizable.

Also, if you want to see how downright beautiful hentai can be, I'd recommend looking up Jorori's works.

Sooooo... who got 4th and 5th?

Tae and Yuki

Sure, but which order? Was Tae dead last or not?

Tae is 4th, Yuki is 5th, as shown on this page (bottom right panel).

Well, if you want more realistic/grounded feeling age gap loli manga, those do exist... they're just often appropriately creepy.

Once again it becomes clear that Mai's not the only one who's not playing by the rules, Hitomi's definitely also using cheat codes.

Obligatory "nursing your sick romantic interest" chapter, here we go!

i find the dramatic tone from start to end really funny. Also the Toys tag takes me out

I found the whole thing with the gun incredibly funny. I just couldn't help thinking how easily she could fire the gun by accident and say goodbye to her "revenge" lol

Bible Black called, they want their ideas back... and I'm sure it'd been done before BB anyway. In media as well as reality (sorry, kinda dark).

^Am almost too perfect example for 1 would be Their Secret Time, which changes considerably in that regard depending on which of our two main characters the reader attributes the internal monologue to.

I've only picked the show up this weekend and haven't watched the last three episodes, but it's been so nice and chill.
Also the opening's a banger and the artstyle is super comfy. Not something I'd have expected from Pine Jam.
I loved the completely uncommented look into Serufu's room relatively early in the show, where we saw quite a few trophies, awards and what looked like certificates in her room. Assuming those were hers, it was clearly foreshadowed that there's a lot more to her than one might initially think.

HOWEVER! That picture is so unrealistic, she doesn't have any band aids on her fingers and arms (that we can see) and only one on her nose! When's that ever happened?!

Shiori's curt sentences at the end came out all shaky and stuff. Like, barely controlled.

Yeah, she was oddly serious after she defeated Ayame... Is she angry because Hinako now knows about the blood transfer? Or embarrassed because Hinako saw her true form?

I think she's shaken up by a few things.
A) Hinako got hurt. She doesn't like that. At all. So she's really angry with herself for letting it happen.
B) Ayame got under her skin and revealed things that were yet to remain hidden. I can't recall an instance during what we've been shown where Shiori might have given Hinako some of her blood, so odds are it was when she saved Hinako from the accident way back when. (Which we also IIRC don't know happened, but there are enough hints for me to be pretty sure about that one.)
C) She revealed her true form, beautiful and terrible as the morning and the night, to Hinako, which she may very well be afraid would shock Hinako (who I'm sure is more awestruck than terrified). She also hasn't calmed down enough to fully regain her human form, the area around her left eye still looks Mermaid. (also please tell me you caught my LotR reference)
D) She'll have to explain to "the Fox" why Hinako got hurt on her watch and will definitely get an earful.

Mind you I still haven't read ahead and I've also not read Temp's post for fear of their "future knowledge" seeping in through the cracks unintentionally.

Also am I the only one who's amazed how well especially Ayame's lines flow? It's a joy to have an imagined inner voice read it out to you. The casual murder in her lines (and "voice") is fantastic.
Shiori's curt sentences at the end came out all shaky and stuff. Like, barely controlled.
So looking forward to the next one. Hope I'll eventually also find a point to re-read the entire thing.
